Problem on android openbor

If you mean doing some shutdowns in middle of gameplay? If that is the case there's some info you must know.

1: OpenBOR isn't an emulator, dont treat it as that really
2: OpenBOR games are not emulator roms, they're built to work on a specific version of the engine, and the port is build also in a specific version as well. You may ask why most games works in there then? And I say, because OpenBOR is built with some backwards compatibility to help creators to being able to port their projects to other versions, but there's some limitations like the 4.0 is way non compatible with 3.0 due to its new features, fixes, and additions. So take in mind which game built in what version are you trying to run on which engine version next time.

Ouh my bad...i thing openbor is a like usual emulator

So to play openbor games is recommended to use pc than android?

well pc is the main version the others are ports even though some port has high values of quality like malik android version, they are not as constant as the main version. so yes playing on the pc version makes you ensures which version are you playing on, also it has controller support which is good to play multiplayer. In summary you can play any port you want just take in count which version of both game and engine youre using. Games built on engine 3.0 wont work on the 4.0+ though even having some exceptions due to the backwards compatilibity. And that's it, games are not roms and OpenBOR is not an emulator, those games are made from scratch for authors with high effort and dedication. After all said, have a good gameplay buddy

Allow me to correct this information, as it contains some errors.

Yes, the main version of OpenBOR is the Windows version, with the others (Android and Linux) being ports of it. But all of them "guarantee the version you are playing on". All versions are updated at the same time; there are no "outdated versions". Something specific happened with the Android port in the latest version, but that doesn't mean the ports are outdated.

no nonono x) I mean't the old packs doesn't work most the time or at least not as they should with the latest version due to the 3.0 - 4.0 stuff jump. 3.0 games are easily and mostly runnable in the same those 3.0 versions, like example having an old game made on the like 4500 and make it run on the 6900 (prob the version numbers are wrong but you get the point) So ye I was meaning that thing about the difference between ports. I'm sorry if I did some mistakes explaining :b
