problem with imput keys

hey there, i am having some problems with assigning A3 to a special attack, it just doesnt work :(, A seems to work fine when used instead thought, any ideas of how could i work around this?

changing A for A3 doesnt work, it is fixed on new builds of the engine but then the game wont work properly.

i am new in this and have been messing around with this game:
http://www.chronocrash.com/forum/index.php?topic=36.0 which i think it uses v3.0 Build 3073, i tried to said that the imput issue is fixed on newer builds of the engine but then the game it self would present more serius problems, like enemies dont behaving like they supose to etc.
i was asking if there is a way to change "A"  for "A2", "A3" or "A4"  butons in order to perform a special move since it doesnt seems to work on the current build that the game uses.
again sorry for my bad inglish :p

Hmmm... I think what you meant by doesn't work is you triggered other attack instead of desired freespecial, when you try to perform the combination, am I right?
