Share a decent openbor mod: Kunio-kun in L.A.

Found this openbor mod developed by a Japanese kunio fan called kt住江 a while ago. Seems no one here have posted it here so I just wanna share this out :)

This game has a very decent character design in terms of character sprite as well as boss difficulty. When you finished all the chapter, you can unlock a real gangster mode where everyone carries a gun and shot you to death xD

I think this author is planning on another game on SFC style kunio game. Please support this author by simply downloading and try the game :)

Locate the text field near by the button labeled "認証" (which means 'verification' in japanese) and type in the password.
Then click the verify button
In the new page appeared, click the button labeled "ダウンロード" ('download' in japanese) and it should let you download the file.

I have put the original link because I think it might be a way to motivate the author
The Japanese link captures the number of downloads which the author can keep track on.
At least he mentioned his excitement in twitter when the download number reaches 70
Therefore I think it's a good way to show support to download the game from original link as it can then stored in website record
It is quite exciting to see the download number goes up to 81 now from 67 originally yesterday. :)
 
This is a excellent MOD. I hope someone can translate the cutscenes to english.
By the way, who is Raphael and Johnny? Are they based in some series, or original to the game?

Apparently the story is about Kunio head to L.A. to confront the gang violence against dodgeball team. Johnny and Raphael belong to Oklahoma High School team and they are original characters from Bikkuri Nekketsu Shin Kiroku.
