I'd love to see a version of streets of rage where you fight the actual president at the end. Imagine fighting Biden now, He appears old but as soon as he starts fighting he has the strength of a 25 year old wrestler :ROFLMAO:

Due to the recent feedback I have received recently, I am going to remove some resources and put them private.
 
Sorry @kimono, anyone that takes Kratus' mod and edits it is automatically crappy to me, wasn't meant as a personal insult, I actually thought someone took your edit of trump and made a whole character out of it.

If you want me to give you actual feedback I can do that no problem.

having seen the video, things i dont buy 'bout the trumpsterino is the fact that he is smoking a cigar....
and the character needs to be tubbier

it would have been funnier to have him eating fried chicken and have the drumstick emanate smoke...
funnier still to have him do the symphony of the night conversation, "have at you" and throw the chicken.

extra points if the character is randomized, so its a burguer or a diet coke instead....

If @Kratus agrees, i think that having Donald or "Dark Brandon" as bosses at the end could be integrated as alternative final boss levels only available for controllable Enemies or Gag characters, not mains.

Forgive me for my long absence.

I wanted to make several versions, but in the end, due to the power going out, I didn't have time to do it.(y)
Thanks for fixing this running animation.
Some explanations though:
The idea is that Josh holds his board and starts running, gaining momentum, then sweats on his board to continue this animation while rolling.
I still have several sprite sheets to complete like that of God Hand and his running animation too and maybe a few other special moves :)

You can model its behavior on the P-1 Bot from SOR3 if you wish.
My suggestion is that before it explodes, its flashing light speeds up to warn the player of the danger.
Hoping it's the robot you expected ;)

I'm planning to add him in the SOR2 factory stage from the 8 bit version, this route will have many extra levels from GG/SMS.

I don't know, maybe it would be better to follow the original boss fight without Miners. Or maybe spawning some only in the mania difficulty.

Another bearded man, God Hand from the SOR1 concept characters. At the end of SOR3, we see Axel and Adam practicing karate so I assumed that God Hand is the master of these 2 protagonists:

We have here 2 versions, thanks to different palettes: one with decorations on the kimono and another without. I find the classic style simply perfect but I like having the choice; let's say the second is his demonstration outfit :)

I could only find the sprites of the skater from the Amiga version but for my part, nothing really usable:

General Ivan Petrov is almost complete; I just have to add the military decorations and change the flame effect on his special defense of Shiva by a razor effect (like on the run attack):

The idea as an enemy character is to have a first phase of combat against him, then Shiva removes the disguise.
As a playable character, you can embody the real General with his acrobatic style :D

I love the cigarette during his grab animation(s). He may be poisoning his lungs, but he's gonna knock the wind out of you permanently regardless. Also makes me think of Yuen Wah and his cigar obsession.
 
I haven't posted anything here in a long time, so I'll make some corrections.

This is a character from the game AOS 4 (Anger Of Stick).
In this screenshot, he is lighting his way in pitch darkness.

Perhaps I went a little overboard with the desaturation,
but I think the result turned out well. What do you think?

To be honest, I don't even know where to start this post (and it could probably fill an entire new thread), anyway.

After I got tired of Streets of Rage, I started digging through my old phone
in search of another game that would hook me as much as SOR.
That's how I remembered a game series called Anger Of Stick.


I remember mentioning it here several times, either as a small reference. Or in a similar post

But that's not the whole point. The same thought has been on my mind for several months now. It goes something like this:

“Is it possible to create the same (or at least remotely similar) type of gameplay on OpenBor?”

And so it happened that at one point, inspired by this very idea, I began a small project, so to speak,
to transfer all the graphics from the original games (at least from three games, namely AOS 3, 4, and 5)
to a single SoR 2 standard.


At the moment, I have finished the player's sprite list, with only a few minor details left. I removed several animations, such as swinging knives/swords and shooting guns, because I never liked them in any of the games. I wanted it to be more combat-oriented, so to speak.
