I know it'll be a long time before the playable enemies have full movesets and stuff, but would it be possible to give them all the 'safe landing' (Up + Jump when thrown) in the next little update? Signals and Ninjas are difficult to deal with in Rebellion mode because you have no way to stop them from throwing you or recover from them (unless maybe you play as Shiva or Mona/Lisa since they probably have the safe landing).

Rebellion mode is gonna be a ton of fun once more moves are available. Some characters like Zamza are already pretty fun to play in this mode :)

Late Edit: The lack of delay between jump attacks definitely needs altering. The Garnets and Tigers in the SoR 3 route are infuriating :/

Overall, it's pretty much what everybody said already lol!!  The routes need to have a logo, or a name to tell where you are going, I was trying to do an SOR2 run but when I got to the elevator and went in it took me to the SOR3 path!!

I somehow got the bad ending where the whole city got destroyed, don't know how I got that!!

I love the CPU partners, is it possible to have 3 CPU partners so you can have the whole team together lol!!

Also I noticed you can have custom music, how to you go about doing that??

You should do a how to screen like how the Avengers game is, as new people who play the mod wouldn't know about the different menu screens and the energy moves!!

Overall, pretty damn good man!!  This is more like SOR4 lol, will you be making an SOR1 path and or create or own path so we can have a whole bunch of paths to play lol!!  Thanks again for the game man, looking forward to the updates!!
 
Hey guys! Sorry for the late, here's one more small update according to some feedbacks:

- Added dialog confirmation and image preview for alternative routes (thanks to pudu)
- Added some info in bike stage
- Added green color in CPU partner life bar to show life recovery in progress after special moves, if heal is enabled
- Adjusted escape scale when the enemy uses special moves for it. The new values are: normal = 50% / hard = 75% / mania = 100%
- Recolored Harakiri sprites and removed some black borders (made by kimono)

No problem man. I'm a very picky consumer. Even professional games won't hold my interest beyond the first level if they are missing certain things. From what I see you understand that fundamentals and production value are not optional, and as a result IMO this is really something special. I'd love to see what you could do with an IP of your own
Thanks! Last year I started a small game with original content only, something like the classic game "Gauntlet". I took a break due to SOR2X but after SOR1 content is finished certainly I will continue. I'd like to see your opinion about this game, I will make a video to show a quick gameplay.

I just prefer exhausting all the command possibilities from fewer buttons first
Yes, I agree to you. All my tests are based xbox joysticks but I can't forget the players who prefer the keyboard. I can fix it by creating more button schemes to use some unused commands, like "attack" + "special" buttons

Incidentally, I think Max's rage should be a grapple of sorts, or maybe give him a second one when in a grapple position
Yes, you gave me an idea. I can make two rage moves for Max with the same command, and the second rage will be activated if the player hold "rage" button. Will be like the current "super" move, that grabs the enemy during a "running" animation but more stronger

Yes man, unfortunately the city is always destroyed in SOR3 route. I made this because the main history is based on SOR2, and SOR3 works like an additional content to expand the city size.

Technically if you go to the SOR3 route, Neo X will execute the "self destruction" program and will shoot a missile in the liquid used by the bomb. Mr X used this bomb to took control over the city and you need to kill the syndicate boss to destroy your plans, by deactivating the bomb and saving adam.

For now, I don't have plans to make Sega characters from another games but custom SOR characters will be in.

Thank you for the Harakiri sprites. I made some little adjusts in the armor and weapons to not look too "gray", but your work is awesome. I hope we can apply it to other BK mobile chars and the problem with a lot of SOR1 content will be solved.
As a gratitude, I can add your Tracker's character and stage as a official alternative route before enter in Zamza's stage. Now that I added the logo before the route is chosen, this will explain where the character/stage comes from.

I tested but unfortunately it can be a pain  ;D More than one CPU partners needs a lot of adjusts otherwise they can harm your gameplay. This idea is not totally discarded, I can make new tests in future updates.

Sorry, it's my fault to not make any tutorial for that. All you need is to create a folder named "custom" in the path "data/music/", paste all musics inside with *.ogg format and rename with the corresponding NUMBER, according to the following playlist:

Kratus Thanks for the update. Is there really nothing that can be done about two different types of controller not working together? I can play this online with a friend if we both use 360 controllers but not being able to use my stick really sucks.
 
Kratus  Could you maybe fix it so that disabling the gamepad actually stops the game from picking up the controller at all.? That when when I'm using two different controllers that conflict with each other I can just use JoyToKey. As it is now that's not a solution.
 
The customization in this is great. I'll definitely be putting some of the awesome SoR 4 music in a custom playlist once the game comes out.

I'm so excited for the SoR 1 characters/stages (and SoR 2 versions of characters). Do you have any idea when those might come? And are there any screenshots or videos of it you could show us sometime? ^_^

Oh! Will we be getting SoR 1/2 versions of enemies too? I notice that even in the SoR 2 route, you're using SoR 3 Galsia, Donovan and Electras.
 
I hope that someway there's a moveset difference between the versions instead of just copy paste like SORR did. especially the SOR1 characters. I am going to send you a dm soon Kratus

This game is fantastic! Gladly I can play it on my Sega Genesis Mini! However, sometimes, the game freezes after the stage begins (after stage 2 start, for example).
The character moves but he cannot respond the command, and the lifebar doesn't fill.

I dig how You transformed how to play into custom menu , thats great , its fun to play and i dont really have complaints , maybe suggestions but its just my opinion..
I would not repeat the same bosses twice in one storyline, also i would give enemies some far range attacks cause its easy to beat the game with dash attack alone.
When on gameplay vids people are reaching last boss with 20 lives then i think it should be more challenging.I think game gives extra life too soon.
There's a lot of stages and a lot of work went into it , i respect that.Great work !

Hey guys!

I received a lot of messages about a "freeze" problem in Android and other low hardware devices. I decided to make an emergency update version 1.9.3:

- Fixed "freeze" problem in Android. The problem was a long delay configuration in stage presentation script that freezes/unfreezes the game until it ends, and now is shortened. In some Android devices this delay is increased due to low hardware (and video filters too) and the stage presentation ends before the script to unfreeze the game runs (thanks to pudu)
- Changed explosion sprites. In fact, I will gradually change other graphic effects to make it more close to the original SOR sprites. I'm glad if you send your opinion about it

About the joystick problem that stops one gamepad if turn off another gamepad, unfortately all joystick issues are related to the engine, sorry man.
About to use two different gamepads at same time, I'm using Xbox 360 controller together with PS4 controller and both work well (offline or online by steam)
About the "How to Play" option, now is called "Command List" and its located inside the Extra Menu. If you are playing in Android, there is a hidden button in the center of the screen to access Extra Menu
Does Adam not have his combo ending kick that hits enemies into each other anymore? If he does I can't do it.
I forgot this feature, is it present in the SOR1? If yes, I can add it. I will check original game to see

I understand you but I'm trying to make it as close as possible to the original game with some fighting mechanics improvements. However, new enemy moves are not discarded

Yes, I've seen it too. But the player can adjust it by changing "difficult" and "lives" in the Extra Menu. And the "extra lives" target is bigger than 1.7 version, that was every 50.000 and now is every 100.000 like original SOR2
 
On a sidenote, I enjoyed playing as the Predator.  The chain whip is my favorite because it reminds me of the Belmonts.

Shinmrgrill: Thank you for your feedback. I tried my best to make a good Predator whip. The bedroom stage is a rework from Home Alone 2 SNES and the stage you attached as image is coming from Cosmo Police Galivan 2 SNES (see at 30:31):
There will be more inner (creature) body stages and new characters that will transform into monster to extend the Street of Nightmare mod soon (it's a surprise mod, mostly on Halloween time :p).
