I have a quick question. Will enemies only appear from the sides of the screen or will they have poses and introductions?  Some examples would be like how SoR2 thugs lay on park benches and then get up and attack you or jump out of a manhole to surprise attack. It's a small aesthetic thing that goes a long way in beat'em ups.

Anyway, you have my full support and I am eager to try the new demo.

You can find one of my earlier posts, where i have show an images of enemies alternate spawn animations, so answer is "yes", moreover, every enemy already have several spawn animations, like jumping from the wall, jumping from the front, walking out of building, laying on the bench, sitting on the ground and others, this way i want to move away from the regular walking from the sidescreen.  ;)

I'm no more surprized to see how you rock at making levels fitting the 3D aspect of your characters...

BTW, will your project have a little more destructible/interactive objects.
It might give really good gaming feeling in your mod.

I am trying to hurry up with the demo. Still have to finish background and some decorations. But the in-demo level (as same as other levels) already playable.

Take your time mtrain. I can tell you really care about this game so you aren't rushing things just to get it done. I know I speak for a lot of us when I say a quality game, especially a cult classic such a SoR, is worth the wait. I remember downloading the original demo two years ago while I was at college between classes and was blown away by this project. I'm happy you are taking the time to polish everything. That's dedication :D
 
Thank you, inqualls, for your support. Now I remembera demo like a horrible dream )) I spent all my time on this game, but still a lot of things to do. A new demo Iis on the way maybe week to wait .)
 
Hello my friends. It been awhile since my last post here. I was really busy last weeks, so i havent time to finish final cleanup of the ingame sprites. Here are some samples of Blaze final look, and her select screen face redrawing:

I must say it is beginning a not simple period in my life. Yesterday i get a new higher position on my work, so i need to pass many exams during next 4! month. But in the end of September i`ll have a leave, so it will be my dead end to release a demo. But the worst thing is there is a war in my country, and Russian army is only! 400km from my home. There is about critical situation in my region, so maybe i will need to move out somewhere. People are dying every day, it is already thousands of killed. I know that this is not the place to talk about this but we (Ukrainian people) can not !even imagine, that another horror war can starts nowdays... that Russian government decide to take away a southern half of our country... just come in with army and take it... oh my god.. my head doesn't fit it...

Those evil pricks running the world!  Look at this forum, we're all from different countries, it's an international and multicultural community now WORLDWIDE.  Normal people have no need for war.  Yet our governments will lie and cheat and cause war any chance they get, trying to pit us against each other.
