Suggestion for better game Immersion

So I was looking down at my Playstation 2 controller that I use to play openbor games. It has a clear plastic and you can see the electronics inside it, and I was looking at the motor for the rumble feature and it came to me.

Openbor needs a rumble feature!!!!!!

I don't know too much about programming or how to make a program interact with controllers but I can't think of any reason it can't be done. Most PC emulators for systems like PSX,PS2 and N64 and others that have rumble make it work.

It would be kool if you could make effects like quaking and when the player gets knocked down do it automatically, that way older game that don't have it Programmed into the game could still have rumble without editing the game.

For those that don't like it there could be a setting in options to turn it off.

Unfortunately I don't know if that could be possible for it would need deep edits from the source code both on the side of OpenBOR and the SDL wrappers that use it. Whatever it is, it's either someone who knows his way around the code do it or it wouldn't happen. It's something nice, but I don't think it's something of a priority.

Ya I knew it would be more trouble then it seems from the outside, It always is with programming. Maybe it can be part of the ChronoCrash engine.

That is, IF DC and Plombo would want to do so otherwise. It's their ball court. We just have to wait and see.

It really depends. I can guarantee this is one of those things that is easy as pie or virtually impossible - there won't be a middle ground.

Judging by that display pic of yours... I'm going to believe you on that. XDDD

Seriously, THAT is badass!
