When the demo? :P

Basically what is missing is a bit of graphics for foot soldiers and some animation. Once I fill the first level of enemies the demo will be ready ;)

Ps. Now I improved script for screen camera...

Wow, I'm super excited for the demo :)
You work fast man, I hope the full version will be released not after ages of waiting :)
Good luck with your game, keep up good work ;)

It may be a little late, but I have a suggestion.

Remake the boss music for each stages remake that is in.

Can your friend do it in TMNT style?

To expand on that suggestion, the boss music should match the stages and game you're taking the stage from, White Dragon. For example: TMNT III stages = TMNT III Boss Music, TMNT II stages = TMNT II Boss Music, etc.

Whizzy is a very good suggestion for a music remixer but his style is to do original remixes in a capcom music style, nevertheless, I know several remixes from him and I really like it, so you should give him a try white dragon, excellent idea O Illusionista

hmm have you seen this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRPRCaKmSsM&list=PLV1wGu84GrG4UgLA8nA8GW-6sAattK8Qq

@White_Dragon  I actually made some progress already using snes samples to make tmnt3 and nes remixes in snes tmnt4 style like you wanted.  Just gotta get some of the instruments working better, I'll post some results soon.

Beastie, please do the elevtor song, I think is the best song in the game, and still no one makes a remix on snes tmnt style!!

Ugh, so many hours wasted messing with this, it's fun thou :p

Should just use whizzy's stuff he's already made, they sound close enough, lots of orchestra hits is the main thing :)

I haven't made any proper remixes yet, I've spent most my time trying to sort out the samples so I had a library of sounds, but I have most of the main instruments ripped properly and saved if you guys need them.

Building a soundfont is too much work, the samples work better in modplugtracker without as much fuss.

I've been converting spc's to .IT files and importing into modtracker, the samples sound perfect, but when you use them on songs the midi tracks themselves affect how they sound, so it takes a lot of work to transpose everything and get it right.

Here is a test run of the tmnt3 boss music, it needs a ton of work thou, but gives you an idea what you can do using samples, and also how much work is needed.  Was hoping to be able to just replace instruments but he midi's really need reworking to make them sound good.

TMNT3 miniboss

I haven't been able to find any better midi's, I even tried to start ripping the midi's from NSF files, but it's another pain in the ass and takes ages.

Just for fun I also did some TMNT NES ones to test how they might sound. Just note that none of these are proper tracks, they would need lots of work, just some test runs with little tweaking. Some don't even have snes drums yet.  Biggest problem is usually the bass as you can hear.

Sewer Stage - (TEST) warning this one has some real bad probs with some instruments.

Anyhow gives you and idea what they they'd sound like done properly.

@DIF - Ok I might give it a go, I'm kinda failing on this so far :p I'll have to rip more midis, vgmusic only had a few for tmnt3.

@Uche - The original TMNT Arcade version music matches pretty well the tmnt4 snes music so can just rip that.

- I just realized I uploaded the wrong miniboss track, I had a slightly better one. :/

-Yeah sewer one sucks, most of them do, this is to show how bad it sounds first go lol
I haven't actually worked on these yet man I'm just trying to get samples to work, if I get them working properly then it will sound like the video you linked.

- This guy is probably re-tracking the entire midi thou. I honestly don't have the time and patience nor the skill to try and match what he's doing, was just trying to help out and make some simple tracks.    I was hoping to avoid manually editing every note to tune the samples, seems you can't avoid it thou with these.

If you can't get this other guy Wizzy to help, I'll work on a few of them properly for you.
We'll still need to rip or find some midi's of all the tracks thou.

By the way how are you going for the actual Sound effects? do you need these ripped?

For sound effects I ripped all sounds from mame with BridgeM1
And nes sounds with fceux cheat trick (no music setting offset value to 0)
No need sounds. thanks ^__^

Cool, you should post that trick, a couple of people were asking about ripping nes samples properly.

Ok!! =)

1) RAM search to find the values that increase continuously except when you press pause button.
2) You will find 4 offsets because NES uses 4-channel sound (music). Sign these offsets (addresses).
3) In cheat search set value 0x00 for these offsets. Then reset the rom et voilà!! NO MUSIC!! ;)
