Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge - Official Reveal Trailer

I bought the game, played it and liked it a lot. I'm used to playing Turtles in Time, so I had to adjust a bit and remember to use that dodge move occasionally.

If I have one negative thing to say about the game, is that I'm not a fan of the soundtrack. Which is a bummer because I've always liked the soundtracks of the older games (TMNT NES, The Arcade Game NES, The Manhattan Project, Turtles in Time SNES and The Hyperstone Heist). The only song that I actually like from this game is the Stage 1 song. The rest just felt okay to me. I really did not like the rap/hip-hop (I don't know the difference) songs. The biggest disappointment for me was the song during the first fight with Shredder. I was expecting an upbeat song kinda like the older games, but it was a rap/hip-hop song. It actually ruined that fight for me.

Other than that, I enjoyed the game a lot.

I thought the soundtrack was decent. Wasn't bad by any means, and fit the atmosphere well. That being even if it wasn't exactly memorable like the old TMNT games were I'll admit though. But overall this game did not disappoint, and was everything we pretty much could have asked for, and then some too.

I must say that game is pretty solid, beyond what i could of done with a team, i hope the frogs will be playable and colour schemes will be unlocked.
Small characters were chosen probabl cause its 6 player onscreen game, its one of the rare modern beatemups with online play and im glad its TMNT property.
I can see some resemblances to previous TMNT games but its ok and feels familiar.
There are some things id change like moving up/down when running and other small stuff but overall i like it.

I beaten it 4 times with all the turtles and I gotta say I was super impressed with the game. Gameplay felt solid and the controls were super responsive. The soundtrack was really good and it matches the overall tone of the game. I actually like the Shredder fight track since I grew up listen to hip-hop back in the day. Overall it is my favorite game of the year so far.

There are some things I would've change too but personally I like this one better than SOR 4 in terms of visual style and gameplay mechanics. SOR 4 is solid but it felt slow at times and certain chars don't have dash/run ability (Alex/Blaze)

Okay, so after a couple of recent playthroughs, I can happily say that the soundtrack is kinda growing on me. Except for the rap/hip-hop songs. Those are just not for me.

Also, it just occurred to me that the game's title doesn't have a number like the previous games. It would make sense because many people see this game, or advertise it, as a sequel to Turtles in Time. So, just for fun, I added the number to the logo of the game. For some reason, when looking at it, it just feels right to me.

And I just got TMNT: Shredder's Revenge "platinumed" today! The last thing I needed to do which was beating Arcade Mode on hard/Gnarly difficulty was such a pain (along with needing at least another player for the Couch Memories trophy), and took forever to do! Good thing for the infinite life exploit you can use in the game while playing in it, which saved my hide, and was the only way I was possibly going to be able to do so! Now I'm onto Final Vendetta, which I've gotten a head start on, but looks like totally finishing that one may be very difficult, if not impossible, with how bloody difficult that game is for certain also!

The game is pretty cool and fun to play. It gaves me a lot of ideas (I loved the moving foward during combos)
It nails the nostalgia hard, full of references.

It was going to be a 9/10, something I consider a huge mistake happens: the lack of runjump.
Serioulsy, its 2022. You can't call a game a beat em up without a runjump.
"Ah, but the original doesn't have it" as it doesn't have special moves, and they improved it , so its not excuse :)
So its a 7/10 to me.

I've made an all bosses video:

But I spoke too soon, as I DID manage to get Final Vendetta platinumed too! That being due to the cheat code which allows you to have infinite health, along with a stage select as well! Wonder what'll be next for a good, old, classic beat em up game in the modern era as well?

I was about to post this, lol.

Usagi looks so damn cool!

100% Recomendable!

100% recommendable!

They did a good job | It is very faithful to the Arcade saga and has a fabulous Online! for games of up to 6 players
It is not short at all with its 16 phases, it is not heavy either and it is very well planned

The sound is tremendous and now they will release a new DLC | Anxious already, because they take it out
