The Last Ronin Game?

I have hopes for this, if they cook something like ninja gaiden 4 in terms of combat - this would be great.
Funny thing is - Platinum games already made a TMNT game in the past, and unfortunately this was probably their weakest game.
 
Hell yes! I know gameplay needs to be seen, but after NG4, I am glad they're getting proper work again, and pray for the best of the new blood. I've longed moved on from Babylon's Fall, and that was mainly Square's fault any way.

For me this would ruin it, the combat in my opinion for NG4 was boring and repetitive exactly what I hate about modern games.


Ninja Gaiden has much better combat in my opinion


but ultimately I hope the Last Ronin plays more like Metal Gear Rising

 
We prob must wait instead of dreaming about hehe, in this modern days of games you can't expect for nothing without getting disappointed :>

I thought it was pretty good and deep. Ryu is not as interesting in this game, he is more of a bonus character (+quite OP too), but Yakumo has a lot of fun stuff. With all those perfect blocks, parries and specific timings for blood raven attacks - the combat system has a lot of depth and sauce, even compared to older NG titles. It's not the same as NG2, sure, but it's not bad, for sure.
Anyway, I think that the Ronin game is gonna be much more simple, probably closer to MGR or Nier games in terms of combat, but yeah, we will see.
