You have some good skills for backgrounds editing!
I might ask you some help later... Right now, making stages is not my priority.
For several years now, I'm still working on my game fighting system and mechanics...

;) I will help you delighted, the same I tell you, when I have something I do not know, since I am now messing with the most complex scripts and animation configurations.

Speaking of my art to make funds, all this time that I was absent from openbor, it was because I was creating a sonic game with opensonic and here I show you my artem apart the arcade style of openbor is very noticeable, hahaha greetings.  ;D

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ut2RrmKQaCQ

It shows that my sonic game, I have mixed the arcade of openbor and opensonic, that's why I came back again, haha all those levels, they bear my seal in homage to openbor ;)

I like the way you care the backgrounds!
But I suggest the chars (I think about Kyo) to not yell so many times. Maybe you could put random sounds. The burning fist of Kyo makes me sick. It's long and frequent...

The two I mentioned are people that do stages for MUGEN and Streets of Rage Remake.

;) hello bro, I've already searched for it on youtube, but the difference is that mine are urban, I love creating levels with traffic and movement, many levels, I think they could be perfectly mugen levels, don't you think?  :o

Any idea on when a new demo or release date? 😞

Hello bro  ;D, I plan to do a demo, until you unlock luise meyrink, I still don't know when, it will be finished, since the txt of the levels can vary, especially the enemies, I plan that the story mode, the first chapter, there are some enemies, then the next chapter other enemies, and some enemies of the first chapter, will not come out anymore, the difficulty increases as you go, the rivals become stronger and more difficult, I want there to be a variety of enemies, every two levels and do not repeat , I don't know, now I have to finish chapter 3, when I have finished that chapter I will collect everything, to launch a demo, with the objects and enemies that are used in the demo, greetings.  ;)

hello guys, These are the enemies that will be added with the new ones created and others already made in the following chapters.  ;D

I am already adding a different palette to each of these enemies, as there are plenty of boxes on the palette, it comes to complete 2 or 3 more enemies, instead of using a color palette for one, I can use a complete one for 2 or 3 and these no longer lose color, too bad I can't do it for others, now every thing I edit has a different palette.  8) greetings

Nice!
I would recommand NOT to use regular palettes.

By using custom/different palettes, we will not have the feeling to fight Clark or Shingo... But fighting various different thugs  :)

I don't think so. Even if you change character color, that character is that character.
And this game just use kof chars and sprites. This mod story has nothing to do with original kof game.

One of the things I'm doing on my mod is using different "powers" to a character. It's the same logic we can see in most of these MUGEN characters that use Kula as a base. For example, the speedy character uses ice and wind elements, can summon a dragon, while the balanced one uses fire, the Tanky character can summon a kaminari persona-style to help on the combos...

Not everyone can make sprites just to put in their mods, or else have the means to commission an artist to do so.

About the story of Kyo, he's a high school dropout with every single aspect of his life being tied to Shinto Myths (Kusanagi is the name of a sacred sword used by the god Susano'o to defeat an eight-headed snake monster called Yamata no Orochi, for example, and KOF 97 is just a retelling of this myth in a videogame form). Most of the Streets of Rage, Final Fight and Dungeons and Dragons mods are this, interactive fanfictions, with personal twists to them.

Seriously, just look at Revival of Rage, for example, this is what most people wanted Capcom to do: A CPS-2 Final Fight game that would tie directly with the Street Fighter franchise (Since Guy and Cody appeared in the Alpha/Zero series, Hugo/Andore became a thing by the time 3rd Strike was released and nowadays you have Poison, Abigail, Zeku and even Lucia from the Super Nintendo game). If anything, very few mods have anything to do with the original source materials they take inspiration from.

Do you mean this mod story is related to original kof story?
So kusanagi83 have to change palette or power of kof chars?
