Not sure but the base might be Dungeon Fighter type template.
I'm not specialist of this game but I think unequiped/empty characters can be extracted as bases.
Only the shading type make me think that.

Dude, you guys should help each other.I've seen Beastie,Bloodbane and White Dragon helping people all the time with sprites and with  scripts :/

It's kewl. He may want to keep things to himself. He has every right to. However Slighted I might have felt is no biggie. I get over things easily. It still doesn't take away from the fact that the work is very well done.

Thanks nedflandeurse, I'm gonna have to look into those. With a proper resize, I'm pretty sure I can crack out some really nice edits.

Sorry progress looms with the weather being so unusually cold here, sitting on the PC my hands are just freezing up.

The bases are from DFO, we had already mentioned this anyway.


- I might start over on Casey using DFO base.  Here's a quick mockup using standard dfo stuff.
  this is only a test, things like the mask, gloves and golf bag would be edited in later.

 

I don't do this for competition, I've been sharing a lot of assets to other modders.  Honestly I'm getting sick of elitist attitudes around here.  The entire openbor project was founded on sharing and working together.  If you don't want to be a part of that then I suggest people go back to mugen....

Man casey looks great, other than karai and leatherhead did you find bases for other planned characters in dfo?

As far as the sharing thing that's a double edged sword people can withhold info or resources but the same can be done to them. Most of these mods made here are solo projects so if we can help someone along the way for a game you plan to play why not help lighten the load?

Nice base, reminds me of the 2003 cartoon Casey, if you want to remade him, I would say go for it.  ;D

We are not some crazy merketing guys from a gaming company who want a game to be finished to a certain date even if the game is unfinished or totaly broken.. *cough*Batman*cough* 

So take your time, it's a hobby and not a job, and if it gets tedious after some time, take a break.

whoa!. awesome work with that venus!. i always tought she not was a very bad idea at all, if she could have their own history and hability/personality.

think about she was created by shredder, and trained to be bad and kill the turtles without know the truth of they are the heroes and not villains, o r mid controlled, or something like that.

anyway very cool work. but i prefer a million of times that not skiny version of the both.

esn23 completed the unarmed sprites for April a while ago, he's done an awesome job.  ;D

I'm only just now working on aligning the sprites for openbor and adding her weapons, plus experimenting with the palettes.  I was also experimenting again with Casey Jones, this time closer to Mirage style.  I still don't have a mask, I'm struggling to sprite it myself because it's so small, I'll have to try and rip it from the comics or something.
