Where's this effect from?

cool fireball effect.gif

where is this "cool fireball effect" (as i named the file) from? my best guess is Eternal Fighter Zero as the effects in that game are similar, but i couldn't find an exact match since TSR has (i think) everyone ripped, but no universal effects.

took the sprite from MUGEN but i want a "clean" rip of it for Comic Stars Fighting.

I remember it may be from some Doujin game just like the one you named.
I remember seeing it in some mugen characters around 2007-2010...
