WOW! That was super fast! I thought it was gonna take longer. I can't believe all the GREAT things he said about the game. I hope this gives the OpenBOR Community a well-deserved attention.

Hooray! Top Hat Gaming Man is giving all the fan-made TMNT beat em' ups some coverage!
Hey oldmanwinters! Sorry it took me this long to reply. Thanks a lot, for ALWAYS supporting this project. I hope all is well with you.
That's Big Daddy Top Hat for you. He doesn't waste time.
Nope, he does NOT.
Hey buddy, take a look:
Thanks for sharing! I was actually VERY excited when Top Hat Gaming Man told me he wanted cover this game.

Fantastic work good sir!! Apologies if this has been covered somewhere but how do you save the game? I've gone through the first 2 stages of Extended mode a few times but I don't see any option to save and I'm unsure if it autosaves. When I go to load game I just see "Saved game not found" Not sure what I'm missing.

Keep up the awesome work :)

I ran into a similar issue played a few stages, turned off, returned to see 'no save game found' wonder what is wrong

Sorry. You're Gabotico, from Venezuela, don't you? I'm from Venezuela too. This mod is awesome, i've played this game so many times, personally I've changed certain details of the game (just for personal fun in home) so I speed up the attack of all turtles at the same speed than TMNT 2 for Nes and some other adjust here and there, don't worry, I will not reshare your mod with this changes, nice game.

Random question, how do you... save?. I assuming quitting and pressing load oon the game menu would work but I get a 'save not found' error, and the game is kind of long.

Same issue here, still don't know how to save and that's a shame because I like Extended Mode but it's kinda long

The engine has a built in autosave that works by level (not progress within a level), so it just depends on how the creator divided up the game. I haven't played, so I don't know myself where those level divides are.

Now for obvious reasons there's no way we could make a one size fits all save system in the engine that works for every game design, so we generally recommend that creators add their own save system instead. Ultimately though that's up to them, and most choose not to because they don't want to deal with the scripting work needed to build a true save system. Incidentally, when you have questions, make sure you tag the creator, or odds are they'll never see your post. In this case @GaBoTiCo.

most modules on openbor save the current stage or stage segment where you either quit the game or where you died your very last life.

if you are not careful, you wil end up loading your last save with 1 life left and in some cases with one life left , no more continues and very little life bar

personally i like this, because it forces you to play a bit old school, where you learn to beat levels without losing any lives...

I am very familiar with how openbor saving works, played quite a few modules already, but it clearly is not the case on this particular module, was wondering if there was something I was missing. It is not the first time maybe a module disables saving or something (had that happen in at least another game too, so if it is intentional, it's rather annoying given how long the game seems to be)

Hello all. Found the Mod thru Top Hat. Love the idea!

Only Issue I have is that my audio crackles, no matter what settings I change it to under the Advanced tab.

Any suggestions?

Ok actually found out what it was. I had turned down the volume in game and it caused the artifacting to be the only noises still heard.
Turn the game down in your pc application settings on your system audio settings menu to avoid this issue.

Works great now! Just finished Recolored, on to Extended! <3
