Just yesterday, when I made the Facebook post, I realized it and corrected it—haha!

The barrel boss, looking at him again, needs something like maybe a predictable set pattern of what barrels he tosses, or a way to trick/force him into using the purple barrels, because him doing so at random becomes a tedious waiting game, pure and simple. One idea would be to have him only add the exploding barrels at low HP to add a sense of deliberation to the fight. Another would be that if you destroy 2-3 barrels in a row he will always throw a purple one.

It turns out to be so simple. I was hit by a barrel many times before. I haven't played the new version yet. Now I have downloaded the new version to play.

It’s less “difficulty” and more “tedium” that is the factor.
