Very ambitious. I like the concept. And I can kinda look past the sprite clashes. However, my main issue is as a player. The balancing is very, very bad. It feels like the developer knew this, and gave the players 999 lives rather than try to better balance the game (either make enemies drop more healing items or some kind of player health leveling, which I have seen done in other OpenBOR games). More annoying things occur than challenges, things like enemies jumping out of the way at the last minute, player attacks have little to no range on the Z or Y axis, meanwhile enemies can hit you out of the air even when their weapons aren't near you. Not to mention the bug I encountered where a boss didn't show up and softlocked me, and with few checkpoints even in early levels, I had to start the level from the very beginning.

Again, I can appreciate the ambition and love the concept. But it was poorly executed and has too many rough edges.
Amazing! Goes way beyond other Mods with more downloads and higher ratings. This should be sold as a real game. They do not cut corners on Bosses and complexity of quests with multiple playable characters.
I like this game. Read the game guide as for why. I think I have an edited BORpak as well where I fixed some of the starting positions for the left (1st) and right (2nd) player. Marvelously ambitious. It's just brought down by lot of of horribly choppy animations and bad sprite clashing. Strong Heart is probably the worst of it, but some of the backgrounds have similar issues.

There are also quite a few bugs that needed ironing out before release. Should have used the scripted filestream system for persistence instead of relying on save game.
