With some creativity, you don't have to lose anything at all. You have unlimited layers. See where I'm going with this? You can always overlap layers to make a combined image with absolutely 0 color loss.

Keep this great work. I'm looking forward to play a tale of vengeance in nintendo switch.
thanks... tho ive no idea about N switch tho.. this is using openbor 4.0... that and i also dont have a switch to try. but lets hope it does :)

so much can be achieved with the fglayers... amazing. while is time consuming, its well work it... tho not every single part of the old stages will be redone, like the pics below, while not the whole house was redone, redoing parts of it can do wonders.. the rest scanlines will cover them up anyways xD

Okay, I kind of remember this game. So, I like the HUD - simple, far more polished and without the visual pollution of the old game.

Speaking of which...

If you want to use this, please go ahead!

those are nice, but ive settle for the ones i made... they need to be small and thats about the smallest am willing to go... but i appreciate the gesture :)
tho i do like the slanted look....

new level to maybe replace an old one.. level 5-1 tho am not sure yet... i may used this as a bonus stage... and if you cant get the vive from where this is going? then i cant help you lol... or just replace the old one and have a sub boss here... still not sure... please chime in as i still dont think i am good at setting the palm trees in the back... dont know why i struggle with those like the train stage smfh... anyways this is based of darkvalentines mugen stage... i saw hers and said why not remake it for bor hehe...anyways this has alot of moving parts in it, and the moon beach i made myself also...have i said god bless fglayers before??? lol anyways ill post the og and mine in all its plagiarized glory lol
thoughts on stuff i could add or subtract.. is missing something just cant put my finger on it yet >_>
thanks

Here's a simple little trick you can do with palm trees: Make them their own layer, and set them to sine wave water mode, with the settings turned down to very subtle levels. It will give a them a nifty blowing in the breeze effect.

I love the echo music of Streets Of Rage.

unsure about who made it but is my favorite out of all ..i listened to a ton of versions and this was the one that cought my ear the most... maestro draven was the second best tho... in reality i think dravens version is the best one... but i like this one more personally for some reason xD
this is the one i used for the record :)

That's it! Visually it's a little rough at the moment, but all you need to do is play around with the speed and amplitude adjustments some to refine it, same as you would if it was for actual water.
