Is there anybody know how to generate sprites by ai ?

Sorry friend, you don't use generative tools to make sprite sets for the same reason you don't save in lossy formats like jpeg - you will never get consistent results.

Generative tools are great for concept art or one off images. In a best case scenario you might even be able to use them to build models for rotoscoping, but sprite work is not even close to the same thing. That requires pixel to pixel consistency across dozens, maybe hundreds of images - or thousands if you care about design coherency in a project. You can't do any of that without an awareness of pixel interaction, and AI doesn't have awareness of any kind. At all. That's just not how it works. Generative tools don't know what they're making. They don't understand this or that frame is part of of walk cycle or a punch or whatever, let alone having any awareness of relationships with other sets.

Every single frame is a freshly created entity with its own internal guesses, because that's what AI is - a very advanced statistical guessing machine.

Sprite sets live or die on consistency - same character proportions, same silhouette, same lighting logic, same pixel clusters behaving the same way frame-to-frame. Generators usually don’t preserve that. Even when an output looks “close,” tiny shifts in outline, shading bands, or anatomy will flicker like crazy once you animate it. Concept art forgives that. Animation punishes it.

Another issue is intent and continuity.   • Concept exploration: character ideas, outfits, silhouettes, palette inspiration.
  • Turnarounds for reference: front/side/3-4 views to help you draw consistently.
  • Rotoscope helper: generate a rough pose, then redraw and clean it in pixel art.
  • Texture ideas: clothing patterns, materials, surface details to reinterpret manually.
  • Upscaling and cleanup: sometimes useful for taking your own sprites and polishing, though results still need hand-fixing.
If someone absolutely wants to try anyway, the only semi-viable approach is “AI for base - human for consistency”:

  • Lock a design first (model sheet, palette, proportions).
  • Generate rough poses only.
  • Redraw every frame to match the model sheet.
  • Enforce alignment rules (feet on the same baseline, consistent pivot points, consistent shading clusters).
  • Expect lots of manual cleanup - basically pixel art with extra steps.
None of this is a moral rant against AI. Generative tools are just built for a different job. Sprite animation is closer to engineering than illustration: constraints, repeatability, and frame-to-frame coherence matter more than single-image wow factor.

Also worth mentioning for anyone shipping a project: licensing and dataset provenance can get messy fast with generated art. Keeping AI in the “reference and ideation” lane reduces both technical pain and legal headaches.

Pixel art rewards obsession. AI rewards variance. Those goals collide in motion.

I understand, but I want images to use as a base for animation. Can’t it even do that?
