el tema de la sangre es cuestion de gusto, en lo personal no me gusta mucho, pero si hubiera una manera de agregar una opcion o filtro para jugar el juego con sangre o sin sangre seria una solucion, aunque creo que seria mas trabajo de programacion y no se si es practico

the issue of blood is a matter of taste, personally I do not like much but if there was a way to add an option or filter to play the game with blood or no blood would be a solution, but I think it would be more work programming and if it is not practical

LMAO im not i had the unfortunate luck of owning MK1 for SNES. I played it all the time in the arcade and was so depressed when i got it for Xmas as a kid and they violence was toned down into sweat.  I was not taking offence to your comment at all I was laughing at it because its funny :P
 
Brand looks super awesome and the sentinels are look very fearsome with different attacks which give players to plan ahead to against them. Great job O!!!!
 
Thank you, guys. Btw, I am using the Powered by OpenBOR intro done by Beastie, its pretty cool. I think everyone should use it :) I will make a short sound indent to be used with it.

Talking about Brand, I have a doubt: She won't be able to go in and out gun mode so easily as you see in the video, because I think this would render her cheap, no?

So, I have two options:
A) make the gun mode consume half of her power bar (while in gun mode, there is no power consumption, but she don't recover it either), so she can have an Avenger Power in Melee mode

B) make the gun mode consume all of her power bar, allowing more bullets (currently, its 20) but removing the Avenger Power.

What are your ideas, guys?
 
I say just lower the amount of ammo for the stronger weapons to like 1-3 shots so players have to use strategy when using her weapons and when shes out theres always melee

This will be done. I was just lazy to make it before to record the video.
In fact, if you try to use the special from the first ammo with just 1 bullet (it cost 2), you won't be able to shoot.

Love the "recoil" on those last specials.
Sentinel looks very cool too (though you should probably revise the range of its attacks, because it seems to rocket punch when it should ice spray).

It seems ammo is separate for each "gun", so I guess if you have a really powerful shot with only one ammo (single use), then gun mode is effectively an Avenger Power (like Emma), so MP is useless for the guns and could regen only in melee mode.

In fact, some attacks works just in close range, some will work in middle range, and some will work in any range.

For example:
Attack1 - Laser - range 0 90
Attack2 - Wire cable - range 90 120
attack3 - Rocket Punch - range 0 90 <- this will be changed
attack4 - Claw attack - range 0 80
attack5 - Freeze spray - range 0 90

Ammo is replenish once you enter the Gun mode. All the "guns" shares the same ammo, but the ammo consuption is (will be) different for each type of gun + the starting time & recovering time is different:

1 - Normal ammo - Line shot - quick short range, linear attack - quick start and recovery time
2 - Grenade ammo - grenade launch - medium range grenade launch. Explodes with contact or after some time.  - quick start and recovery time
3 - Burst ammo - Burst Flame - medium range burst attack, releases a fire burst which does area damage. - quick start, medium recovery time
4 - Missile ammo - Tricky Missile - long range attack, shoots a missile which hovers on the air, then accelerates to hit one enemy in its reach. -
5 - Sniper ammo - Sniper shoot - unlimited range, has homming attributes but can miss sometimes. Marks the nearby enemy and calls an attack from her S.W.O.R.D. ship - long start time, long recovery time.
6 - Blast ammo - Blast shot - long range attack, charges then release a blast shot which can hit multiple enemies - Long start, long recovery time. Brand is pushed back after the attack.

To go back to melee mode, you don't need any power. But will need if you need to revert to gun mode again.

Ah, that changes everything I said.
But then, what makes Gun mode different from, well, normal? Cosmetic changes aside, isn't saying "different moves cost different MP value" (like a normal character) conceptually the same as "different shots costing different amount of ammo"? It's like having two MP bars, one for shots, one for melee. It will definatly give a different feel, though.

Melee mode:
- Close range attacks only
- Grab moves
- Run
- Recovers Power by time
- Can replenish Power using itens

Gun mode:
- short to very long range attacks
- no grab moves
- no run
- can't recover power (doesn't uses it btw) or ammo.
- ammo is only replenished if you enter the gun mode again.
- stores the last gun used, so you will pick the last weapon used once you enter in gun mode again

It's like having two MP bars, one for shots, one for melee.
Kinda like that, plus the points above.
 
Glad to see there are pro and cons in every mode.
This is something I thinked by playing Mtrain's SOR4 demo.

This way there are reasons to switch from one mode to another.

but it is the least of your worries in a game like this were enemies are dying and burning and just being violent inherently

tom and jerry didn't have blood but even without it I thought that everything that jerry did to tom hurt like hell despite having no blood.....a lot of Internal bleeding I guess lol

blood sparks would be hella cool for wolvie

I do agree with you. I don't see much problem to have some blood here and there. if I can be honest, I think its kinda...hipocrital to see people arguing about a few pixels of blood in a game where you can smash people's head on the ground, attack with weapons, guns, axes, knifes and even having signs (at Port stage) saying in big red letters F**K YOU. Burning people or Exploding people is okay...but some if there is any blood...OMFG. As I stated many times, I would add a little blood effect like the one in Shinobi game, not someting like Night Slashers or Mortal Kombat.

All this ruckus gave me a idea: I will make a separated mode, where you will play only with Wolverine, like he went berserk and started a killing spree (he did this on the comics). On this mode, there will be blood and gore everywhere, and he will be able to torn people apart, rip people's head, arms, etc. I will give a warning about this on an intro or menu.

But I will focus myself into more important things, I have some bugs to squash so I can release it soon. I have a lot of Mugen stuff wainting for me :)
