You can also use the DFO Avatar Studio, to create Animated DFO Avanatars with different armors, and capture them from there, the site gives you even the option to play animation that are used for the chars in the game like running and attack animations.

I don't know whether or not this game will be made or not, but I think that adding in some female enemies would be cool. Think about it, female purple dragons and maybe female ninjas.

I got a few punk females etc I'm going to use. The problem is finding usable sprites, I was trying to avoid using well known chars/sprites for them. There's a few chars from those games already, we've searched through every available sprite online and also ripping some ourselves (thanks to Lictbringer and esn23) Games like final fight and SOR were the first games I took sprites from.

therain's mod is based on the IDW comics, so I guess it will depend on what female characters are in that story.
I'm splitting mine into chapters, the first part of my mod focuses around fighting shredder and the foot clan, but later on I plan to have Karai enter the story and be the main antagonist for a period.
Lictbringer has been helping me rip lots of sprites so we can have an ancient japan/china or alternate dimension type stage. (unwritten) - But I will use lots of female and male kungfu/ninjitsu themed chars in these stages.
I've been trying to add as many enemies as possible, I'm really trying not to have the same handful of enemies repeated too often. The problem is finding usable sprites....dozens of sprites have been put in the trash already due to size issues.
The footclan has thousands of sprites, so I definitely will not be making a female version of them. They are draped in black and masked, so you can have the suspension of disbelief that some are actually female. The footclan are trying to being coded in a way where they behave more individual so they don't appear so clone like.
There is about 1,600 sprites just for the unarmed and sword weidling version of the footclan
I'm also trying to make footclan varied, so some will spawn slightly resized to give height variation. There will also be some other sprites used that appear like unmasked footclan, or non uniformed footclan, there will be some females included. These will be for shredder's base etc, and china town maps.
I wanted to slowly introduce enemies that appear like semi trained purple dragons, like they are in between purple dragons and becoming footclan ninja. - Basically street punks swinging ninja weapons, so I have more female sprites planned for these too.
With a dozen WIP's already going among several people, I wont be taking on any new ones until those are complete. The TMNT, footclan, April and Casey are priority for now.
