Jiam, thanks for those.  We actually did use the Kystalak with a palette change (it was modified from a Razorclaws Alien to start with).  Thanks for looking out!
The other thing that would be helpful is we need sprites for "furniture" - things like stone altars, alchemist benches, bookcases, chairs etc.
 
Another D&D inspired addition to the game:
The wizard from the cover of Unearthed Arcana.  In our game you can buy spells and magic wands from him, and he also recharges magic wands (for 1/2 price).

And for those of you who missed it, here's a video Bloodbane made of the magic wands being used and then recharged.  You can see this wand shop at the end of the video.
D'Raven the Mage is the only character that can use wands (the paladin, fighter, dwarf and thief can use crossbows and the elf can buy the Triple Bow).
The wands you can buy are Fire, Ice and Shock.  The Acid wand can't be purchased, but found as loot in secret rooms, chests etc.  It can be recharged at the shop.  Rary's wand has unlimited charges, and it's something you'll have to find by playing the game:)

some games where you can get these items?
 
I couldn't find those items, so I spent a lot of time yesterday sprite editing to create them.  All this talk of HeroQuest inspired me to try and create furniture like from the board game.
So far I made:  Alchemy Table, Sorcerer's Table, Bookcase, Weapons Rack.

If you guys can think of any other cool stuff that already exists in MUGEN stages or any other game that would be great.
 
wow bro thats looking great ....... im in imprest ill see iff i can get sume furniture what you missing.  wonting to play this more and more ever day look at this old game mabe it can inspier you sume more :) like win sume one dies the reper coms out

I suggest to search for fantasy themed sidescrollers and action rpgs.Having said that, this game has the right perspective but not detailed graphics.
Dragon View - SNES Gameplay

-Castlevania games, as they are settled in a castle, from 16 bit to above.
-Cadash (but this is the Genesis version), the arcade version has better visuals,the problem is that it's very poor of furniture.

-Sekeiken Densetsu 3: this is very stretched because of the different visuals, but is rich of furniture, it requires a heavy editing due to the perspective, the size and the cuteness that doesn't match Dungeons and Dragons.
-Chrono Trigger: similar to the title above, but perspective wise it seems more promising (I never played it).

The shop features really shines because we can now purchase items.  Any thoughts of adding capcom characters as cameo's that are not from D&D?
 
We have some Red Earth characters, some Golden Axe characters.  Who did you have in mind?  We wouldn't put someone like E.Honda, because it's a medieval fantasy setting, and the sprite art style has to be high quality (Magic Sword chars are too small for example).
 
The only characters that could fit that era are Last Blade, Samurai Spirits and Ninja Masters.  However, I doubt that the sprites would fit in.  You could add some one from Cadillac and Dinosaurs and perhaps call them time travelers.  Maybe going far as to editing a Dr. Who character or a Star Trek character.  What are you thought on creating stages?  What are your though process? 
 
Well the game is very close to being finished.  We have TONS of stages, from D&D, Knights of Valour, Crossed Swords, Golden Axe: The Duel, you name it (even Samurai Shodown RPG)
Two years of ripping and sprite editing, huge roster of monsters too.

At this stage we're just looking for specific things we know we need in order to finish up (as Bloodbane mentioned, we'd like to put a Xorn in the game but Eye of the Beholder has the only Xorn sprites we could find so far, which means we might need a spriter for those).

We really need to clone Bloodbane, so all the final coding we need can get done faster:)   
Right now he's working on a jousting tournament -- a game within the game, where you can enter the jousting, wager on yourself.  The more gold you bet, the harder tier of opponent you get.  If you win you get double what you wagered, if you lose then you lose what you wagered. 

I can tease it with a video showing how you enter, and WIP pictures of the jousts.
