I like KPOP Demon Hunters well as anyone else, but this has all the signs of going nowhere never. Lengthy webm videos of movie footage and one sprite frame with ripping artifacts do not make a game. We'll see if I'm wrong.

According to the developer, the game is planned for release this year. The YouTube video is only a prototype.

Lol, first time I am seeing a movie being converted to openbor format for watching. Reminds me of those old psp movie you could get.
Seems the author is using another game as the base. But if the select screen and the 1 frame character is anything to go by, I have no hope for it. They also just took any airplane stage and called it a day lol.

Though, gotta say I'm loving the combo madness. A proper K-Pop demon hunters would be like Marvel Cosmic Invasion, but with proper aerial raves outside of being limited to Iron Man, Phylla-vell or Silver Surfer.
