I like YungMie, but her "Suiko Enbu: Fuunsaiki" appearance is not well done IMO.

And yes, this FHD game is very nice. If I had more time, I would tweak a lot the gameplay to make it receptive, give them a run anim and all...
I would add some other characters and enemies as well.
I would create more levels ans different game modes.

She's my first thing I'm doing on Openbor. EVER.
I played this game because of Blaze Rhodon's Marstorius playthrough, and got a bit pissed because my favorite Dan Ku Ga character was a cheap thug.

Since Pierwolf said this mod was open to tamper with everything, it was just a matter of reading tutorials and getting OpenBOR editor ready.

This is game isn't bad except for one thing: the bosses. The regular enemies are reasonable, if not a little annoying at times, but the bosses completely ruin the fun. Even with Infinite Lives turned on, I felt like I'd rather end the game than continue fighting some of the bosses because it just didn't feel worth the effort (there's a fine line between 'challenge' and 'f*cking annoying'). Having to fight TWO of some of the bosses in the final stage was ridiculous, especially Alsion III. He is ridiculously cheap on his own but with two of him, I was trapped between two poison clouds most of the time, unable to move out of them and the defensive special didn't seem to do anything on them. Most of the bosses seemed too overpowered for the player characters to handle.

The controls felt very solid though and the characters had some nice moves and specials, though in the second half of the game I found I died before even getting a full meter for the ultimate specials, especially the final stage where you would need them most.

Not the worst OpenBOR game I've played but the difficulty is merciless where the bosses are concerned and it makes the game not very enjoyable to play so I probably won't touch it again. I play games to relieve stress, not cause it, lol.

The overall design is good though, so if I had to score it, I'd give it 5.5/10. It would be a 6.5 if the bosses didn't make me want to kill myself, lol XD

I've decided to use this and Knights et Dragons as a base to make something else. Coding her isn't hard, since I have everything in hand, but the portraits are a nightmare to do because of the overly-confusing palette structure. I'm sure that this way there will be more of the engine to explore.

Having to fight TWO of some of the bosses in the final stage was ridiculous, especially Alsion III. He is ridiculously cheap on his own but with two of him, I was trapped between two poison clouds most of the time, unable to move out of them and the defensive special didn't seem to do anything on them.
Once I played this with infinite energy turned On. Alsion III's sub-bosses in the last stage will stunlock you with their poison gas attack infinitely. The only way out is to quit the game.

I was pretty disappointed with the secret character...
Mizoguchi 2.0 AKA Kazuya is boring indeed. Ryoko Kano or Tia Langray (From Breakers) would be better choices for an endgame reward.

Again, lots of wasted potential.

Hi, Please can I make a suggestion? If you were able to add characters to this game, maybe you can add Kisarah. Love that character.
I Tried myself to do a lot of things to modify this game(To add Kisarah as a playable char, my favorite along Leon and Joe,To add a new walking animation to korean Lee from Agressors of Dark Kombat) but didn't have success. The sprites of the character Kisarah are made by nedflandeurse, I think he lallow you to use it.

Thanks for the new Lihua char, awesome addition. This game needs more female fighters.

Tia! Great idea, though Hanzo (WH) or an SF char would have been even more ironic and cool.

Tia, Hanzo, even a character from Ring of Destruction (Like Mysterious Budo, I loved using that guy, or Haggar) would be perfect.

Hi, Kurisu, I got your point. Did you plan to make a mod with Aggressors Dark Kombat/Kaiser Knuckle/Saturday Slam Masters characters? All these underrated fightin' games from 90's. I think KOF and SF2 are all overused, just looking to the dozens of mods with these chars. Will you please post your modified version of Fighter's History Revenge when you finish it? It will be so cool to play LiHua in that game.

I am a fan of your modules, Pierwolf.
This module, in special, is great fun, with lots of moves and fun characters.

I have one problem with it: I love coop, and on this game, because of the big, awesome sprites and the sizable special moves, I always kill my friend. The friendly fire cannot be disabled.
If possible, could you make it so it can be disabled at will?

hi there, thanks for the kind words.
i don't think i will update the game for such a small edit, but it's very simple to do it by yourself: you have to unpack the mod (you can find the tools here in the downloads section of the forum) , then go to data/models.txt, open it with notepad or some similiar program and change the line versusdamage 1 in versusdamage 0. after that, you pack it again and you're done!

Oh... giving this a try once again.

Well, I thankfully had all of the sprite/pals/sounds for Lihua ready, but I guess it's back to coding all from the scratch. At first, I'll add her in the playable roster for personal use and ask Pierwolf if I can upload the mod with her as a selectable character.

I'm doing this more to understand how the slam scripts work since there's the use of them in here.

Its easier than it looks. But I have a custom method of doing this (I've used this in my game) and I want to make a tutorial next year, explaining how it works.

Do you mean completing Bloodbane's tutorial ?
