A brand new, updated version of GI JOE: Attack on Cobra Island.

What a pleasure to see after the staff roll that there are some more levels to come!

I've been working on a lot of Strider edits and did an edit for you using your Storm Shadow Edit ;D. The shoulder strap is on the wrong side, but Oh Well :-\

Hey Count. I enjoyed your mod and you guys did a very great job in working on it.

However, I found there are a few errors as I screenshot them.

Attachments below:

- The platform entity of that box is floated on air, so that means it's around the panel, and it's supposed to be close to the other box. There must be a shadow on the road that the box is floated. Maybe you should've put it next to the other box.

- After the boss is defeated and during the beginning of level 2 in Escape from the Pit, the weird part is that the Cobra Commander's name switches with player's name (like Snake Eyes) like it's flickering. Looks like it's glitchy. But hey, I understand that he's a weapon for players and that's okay. It looks like it's scripted and I know the name shouldn't flicker like that.

Most of all, I really like your work. I wish there were some spriters that could help you guys with more playable Joes for your project. I understand you guys wanted them so much.

vision, your Storm Shadow is looking good. So I guess you can send it to Count so he can add it as a revamp. Eheheh. ^_^

Last skystriker mission is impossible to beat...
why is there no way to destroy the torpedo from the cobra boat?
There is no way to destroy the boat with just 30 bombs, you have to get more and by the time you reload the torpedo sinks the Flagg...
was this play-tested?
 
Yes sir, play-tested numerous times.  It's meant to be challenging, but here's the best way to beat it:

Bomb the Cobra boat and save 10 bombs.  When the torpedo is launched, you'll hear a ping sound effect.  Use the remaining 10 bombs to kill the torpedo.  Then go and get more torpedos on the Flagg.  If you hear the ping, wait and kill the torpedo, then go drop some bombs on the Cobra boat, save a few to kill the next torpedo.  Rinse and repeat.

I just said there is NO WAY to destroy the torpedo - I dropped 20 bombs on it and they just exploded on the water leaving the torpedo unharmed. If I could destroy it there wouldn't be a problem.

Strange, I've tried it myself and I could bomb and shoot the torpedo fine
 
This is one of the awesomest mods i've played ;D i wish i had tried it sooner!it's superb!
Anyhow, i'm having a glitch in the "red shadows" mission. After defeating the 2nd Escape Armor enemy,  the Red Shadow enemies keep respawning endlessly. is there a way to complete it?it won't let me go forward, no matter how many i defeat.

Strange, I've just tested it and it works fine here. Have you tried replaying the mission while defeating any enemies you met?
 
Yes, i've tried starting the mission over, clearing all enemies as i meet them before advancing, but to no avail >.< but if this trouble doesn't happen in your build, i'll try again sometime!
I've only encountered one other example of the problem i am having online, on youtube:  https://youtu.be/yna28-ZKbos?t=1h22m20s (starts at 1:22:25, it's the exact same place in which it happens to me too)
Other than that, i played all the missions ;D and had a lot of fun!
 
Hmmm.... that sounds like older version of this mod
The one I have here has Escape armors shooting round bullets instead of laser
 
yay!I made it past it!i re-installed it, started the red shadows mission again, and tried to clear the area of all enemies before continuing as you said. It took me a few tries, first i got to fight black major, which wouldn't show up before, but the red shadows kept respawning. After a few tries, once i beat the last row of red shadows, the other red shadows that fall from the ceiling stopped re-spawning, then i was able to fight and beat black major. Since there were no more enemies on screen, i advanced to the next screen ;D
I see...i might have an older version, because in my game the escape armors still shoot the laser. I've got it off gamejolt, it says it's version 1.0.0 and the folder's "GI JOE 12 (UPDATED)"
Anyway now that's solved i can finally finish the mission :D
