Canceled Guardian Heroes Arcade PSP/PC

Project is halted prior to completion and will not receive further updates.
thx guys

@rafhot: About the color in 16 bits nice done i never thought about changing this, so thats what i'll do for the next update. But i wont change the resolution since its for the PSP version ( that was the base of the problem, the PSP having a maximum RAM of 24 000 , and it seems that after 23 000 the game freezes, look like it need 1000 free ram to launch the game.)

@kingherb: i downloaded the scene , maybe it will  reduce the ram too, but anyway the big size of the game was a problem for users to download it, and for me too because it take a lot of place on my psp so this will help a lot :)

Right now im working back on my other mod , turtles in time remake, but these change wont take too much time to apply, so i'll  upload the new version ,of guardian heroes in the end of the week.

If you have any other ideas make me know the file size and the RAM are the bigger issue right now :)

Btw jeet i was just thinking, the unload feature i mentioned before, when you tested it, did you make sure that the character in your models text was set as know, i think entitys cannot be unloaded from memory if they are set as load in the models text.

Another way to lower file size would be to switch the music to ogg files but i hear that may cause slowdown on consoles, although i have never tested it.

Yes i tested this with "know" enemies, no change at all.

So i tested the 16bits color and i reduce the RAM used to more than 800, wich probably allow me to insert an NPC, or to put back the villagers in the stage 4

About the scenes files, the size file is now 216 and its very good, maybe if i can delete one music, ill be able to upload the mod as one file instead of two ( ive heard that mediafire doesnt upload more than 200m file for free users)

But there is one problem with the new scene file, in the intro, just after the undead hero slash on the ground ( near the end) there is a white windows around just the screen for on second, anyway to fix this?

EDIT: nvm about the scenes file i noticed there is a big lost in quality in the intro(correct me if im wrong bcause im not100% sure), i compared, both scenes, so i think i'll keep the old one :(

I think this might be a side effect of optimising the file, i might not be able to fix it, if can't maybe just use the old file for that scene? i used gif movie gear to optimise the files perhaps there is something that could do it better but i don't know which programme that would be, i will take a look at the file and see if i can find the problem.

The white border is not the only problems, its seems that there is a lost in quality in the colors too, i checked this one time only so'ill take another look to confirm

There is no way to reduce the file of the scene without any loss? ( frames , colors )

White Dragon has told me he has the same problem as i tried to reduce the size for his mod also, i'm sure there must be a programme that can do it correctly, but at the moment i'm not sure, anyone else know the best programme to optmise animated gif files?

ImageReady was always my favorite, but it's part of the Adobe Suite (meaning expensive) and was discontinued after CS2, so very hard to get. Still, it's a great tool for creating optimized gif animations if you can snag a copy.
