a little update...
we are now a little team...elisf2 help with making dialog animations/cut sceenes and work with me together on the storry. tontonMayonnaise is a realy good drawer and is bussy atm with drawing a complete new playable character for the game. he also help me with coding and some other things. I can only say thank you both and I'm really happy with that  :)

the last days i paint a new weapon for korr. the battle axe...some peoples like more axes and other like me swords... so i decide to add a axe...this is not the final stage...more details will be painted by tonton. here are 2 short vidz...the axe in the 2nd vid was the first axe...but we think that looks to much anime style...what did you guys think?

Congratulations Showmaker! You finally formed a small team to assist you with your Legend of Korr project, I am very happy for you! :)

Also, I so much enjoyed that Legend of Korr alpha mod that you made, especially that one stage that pits you against Sir Dawn. Because Sir Dawn himself sounds a lot like the 2nd Nightmare from Soul Calibur 3.  ;)
 
This game looks fantastic, I can't wait to play it. Any chance you'll make your Rastan and Korr chars available for Mugen?

i tryed to make my korr sprites public but spriters-resource means that my sprite sheet is to larg to load up...to many free space on it...maybe i will overwork it...i also make a post with download link in the forum on mugen guild but somebody there delet that post one day later without a massage why...any way...you can donwload the korr sprite sheet here:

jey your right i use some vocal sounds from SC3  they are cool!  :D

here comes one of the new moves...the round house decapitator...i tryed to design that move some kind of the decapitation move from that old barbarian the ultimate warrior game. i also add a new button just for that move to make it more easy...

The decap/strong attack button could have some special attacks assigned only to it, or even used well in combos, ala the cancelled Dungeon Fighter B.O.R. mod.

I also noticed that the skull screen upon beating a level is obstructive and sometimes leads to you playing the same level repeatedly. You could change the skull screen to a proper endlevel screen or remove it. (or at least allow players to skip it)

I also feel levels could be triggered by pressing attack instead of just mousing over them.

the kill moves are not on final stage but all in one i think it is a good idea just to can make it when enemy is near death...i can make them a bit more difficult with move combinations!? but i will not add to many special effects to the moves to have a more realistic look. the point is more on blood and the death animations as on special effects. i know there are two levels that sometimes repeat when u have finished them but this is a bug i dont figure out...its not a problem with the skull screen after the levels...the skull screens after the levels are placeholders at this stage...later there will be dialogs or sceenes...i can skip that skull screen when hit a a button mate!?  the point with level trigger...i dont know how to code that atm...but that would be very cool yes!
 
the return of rastan...i ripped him out again (over 40 frames and change his sword) to give him a new chance in the new version of legend of korr...but he will come as an boss...not playable.

 
Awesome! I'm having a great time playing the Alpha, now I'm excited to play with the new "Barbarian" decapitation move and Rastan Boss. Please post the link to the updated game when it's ready.

thx mate:-) rastan is done but i need a break here and reload my motivation...i will be back when my motivation is back on top;)
 
hey barbarian friends;)

i like to show you a new playable character for the next update of legend of korr. Thats Ki_Sha...a barbarian girl with sword and maybe a shield later...i am done with the idle and move frames but as you now it's a pain in the ass to paint all that frames...all in one i hope you like her...


 
This new character looks so stunning Showmaker and it's good to have you back. I look forward to playing as this femme fatale once the project is released!  :)

the last days i overworked the idle frames...she is now a bit higher and everything shakes a bit more and now it looks more realsitic...i will now finish the move frames. updates comi'n soon mate;)
 
i spended some more time into drawing...try to become the new character simular to korr but its way to hard...here is the actual result:


the idea is that the player must rescue her to unlock...maybe rastan has kidnaped her? :-D



 
Nice to see other characters to unlock.
The idea of saving her is cool IMO!

only 2 thinks to point.
-Her boobs looks too big and unnatural.
-Her walk seems unacurate for a beat em up

thx mate;) yes your right...the move frames where only quick drawings to let her move...i have better move frames now. i also have a blocking frame and atm i work on the jump + attack frames. i am not a professional drawer but i try to do my best here...the point with her boobs jear man...i know but at this stage i am not realy motivated to overworl all frames i have now and on the most frames the boobs are covered like the upper body when walking...i cannot say how quick thigs will go but i hope i can show some more soon! thx 4 your feedback!!!
 
hey there barbarian friends:) i hope you all doing fine here!? first of all my project is not dead but the last month i was to bussy with real life. today i show you the first sprites from the new sandra. original character from dark awake. i also think about to add that barbarian ramda again. here are the first frames:

Hey Miru;) maybe later. All new chars will be only enemy because the playable chars need  a lot of moves / frames like korr. In my new update i post today on page 1 you also can fight against rastan in the arena but he is also not finish at this stage. Its a lot of drawing work here and i hope that i will not lose the motivation again ✌️
 
Good to see some news!
The barbarian girl from Dark Awake need more contrast in skin color. she looks a little Flat.
