yes, the last version was also full playable...check here the first page. you can play all levels and beat the final boss. the game will end after that fight. there is no story or dialogs at this stage. its still an alpha. you can make 2 kinds of finisher when an enemy is near death. a decapitation [works on most enemys also bosses] and a stitch finisher that works only on a few enemys, bosses...the stitch finisher works on the executer and that little barbarians and that axe barbarian...take a looki in how to play for the moves...

@miru...when i found some free time i will upload a little update next weekend  ;) i think about to change the charging attack with an other move like a flying decapitator  ;D and better effects...maybe i will also add a new enemy when all runs fine...atm bussy with the frames and sounds...stay tuned and good day!
 
The game is overall pretty beautiful.
I'm not sure about this kind of "obsession" for long white sword. It looks not really mixed up with the game graphics. But Anyway, it's still ok!

what is the meaning of all the sword button in the keypad layout?
Light, medium, strong, or something? Not sure to understand.

It would be nice to give some jump blade attack to all these blade/sword button.
I recommand to use "cancel" to give this kind of attacks possible.

I can't wait to actually see more.

Thx mate;) jey i know...the layout is far from perfect...the first slash button is the normal strike button where u can make combos...the 2nd is the decapitation i think and the 3rd is a special attack...that flying elbow...try it out;) i will define that later...i found some time today to make an quick update...i load it up atm on my google drive. i change the lives to 3 + 10 continue so you will have 30 lives all in in one...i think thats more then enough. i also change the MP points for the elbow special attack cost 10 now from 30 and i add boss bars on sir dawn and that boss in the swamps. i finished also a new enemy. you can finish him with a decap or stitch attack but i must overwork his sounds...not loud enough. i hope you have fun with that little update;)
 
Thanks for it. It feels much better now. There is still an error that when you go to the map after beating the bridge stage with the Snake Man, you will go right back to the bridge level in an endless loop. A simple way to solve this would be to have levels selected by pressing attack, rather than simply mousing over them, or just changing the spawn point of the player after that stage. And also, if you try to continue after having shut off the game once, the game will close when you lose all of your lives and try to use another credit.

jey! that would be cool to have an button to enter a level but i dont know how to code that sry :'(
can you tell me the borlog info from the crash when u go on with an savegame? so i can take a looki. i am not realy good skilled in coding sadly and i have not the time to learn that all...some help here would be great!

Nice art! And you could look into Sonic Adventure Revolution to find how to select levels with a button.

And the error log exceeds 20,000 characters, but it says "Fatal! Can't find any player models."

Sonic Adventure Revolution have a world map? okay i will take a looki later maybe next weekend in that game.
Fatal! Can't find any player models...hmm...this is the same error massage i become when i activate the remaping for the chars in the .txt when continue...where you can select the players colour after continue...i deactivate that because that and korr start aotomatic with his original colour after continue...there is something wrong in a .txt file but where? not easy to find i think...
 
Phalanx can hit you from behind with his acid attack, and I think there should be more of a warning for when he will attack. I also think a burning-to-death animation could play when your fire attack kills an enemy (I also had an idea for an air special attack of Korr shooting a fireball to the ground).

about phalanx...must think about it...i dont want to much special effects mate...the focus in this game is more on weapon fighting but i will think about new combos and heavy special attacks without bling bling and ching ching  ;D

@miru...i unpacked that sonic game but i dont figure out the map funktion sry...i try some things out but with no result...atm i add a lot of new stages with many new levels and some new enemys, add new places on the world map and add a new blood style when u hit an enemy...looking way better then before...i think i will upload a new update tomorrow.
 
How do you obtain Ki Sha as a playable character?

And showmaker, the cursor icons have an "attack1" that touches the hurtbox of a stage icon.

at first i need to finish her...the attack moves are not complete at this stage...maybe in a few month...she will be playable after beating ramda in that level where you can see her in the background. when u go then in the tavern after that level she will apear theni the select screen...

the cursor...jey mate! let me take a looki again. will see if i find that codes i need in that sonic game...
 
@Miru...sry mate...i dont figure that out  :'( that sonic game unpacked konfuse me to much...i will need hours to figure that out and i dont have the time atm...maybe you are skilled to check that out so feel free to help  :) i will add some new enemys and levels the next days...

I downloaded latest version yesterday and played the game a lot, I like it very much, but i'm also stuck in that endless loop... can you do sth about that, please ? Thanks

thats strange...i have the same bug but not every time i play...i will test it again today and will fix it when possible;)



 
ok, i change the level position on the map, test it and now it works fine;)

here is the new update with new content:
- bug fixes
- new enemys
- new levels
- new sounds on the new chars
- i add sandra from dark awake but she is not 100% finished...need some more details on body but the moves are done now.
