Looking for Art of Fighting Beats of Rage Remix III v1.3 final with SNK music

Hi,
I'm looking for this exact version but I only find it with that "trance music" (as you can hear in the video too). All the versions I found with SNK music are older versions and not this v1.3 final.

In the message of the begining it says that the SNK version is in that 2 web pages, but they are no longer available... And the version that is up in this site is very old. Anyone, please, have this v1.3 final (or the latest version if it exists) with SNK music?

I want this version because it has various fixes.

I'm not sure if @Mr.Q! released this version himself or if was fixed by other people.

The musics are different. And shut down when I'm playing extra mode.

Thanks for the link, but there I only see the "Trance Version" and the original Mr.Q! release... not v1.3 with SNK Music...

I'm not sure. The first time I downloaded this game it was this:

Here you can read:
"Notice: This is the fixed version and some changes were done by becker. However, there is just only a single bug/error or a few in it, so I will create an updated version myself on his fixed one or I use my own version. (Ermax619)
Edit: The reason becker had to change the problem and named it as "fixed version," is because he was trying to avoid the problem of crashing the engine."

I noticed problems in that version (the loading bar doens't appear and the portraits of the main characters in the 3 players mode character select screen have wrong palettes), so I tried to find a fix and that was when I noticed the existence of that v1.3 final. The problem is that I only find that version that changes the music too (called "Trance Music") but if you read the first screen of the video I posted it said you can find the "SNK Music version" in that webpages, but they don't work anymore, so I don't know where to find that version.
Didn't you updated that project since the version that is uploaded here (from 2009)?

This is funny, because when i released it ws fine without errors, people mod stuff on them and break stuff, how sad.
BTW never saw someone unlocking the 3 extra characters without altering the mod

Yes, that's what I'm noticing. I downloaded your version from here and it doesn't seem to have the problems with palettes and the loading bar... I will try to finish that version on the Wii to see if everything works fine. Do you have any plan for an update or should we consider it as final?
I thank you for this great mod, I like it a lot how it covers the story of Art of Fighting.
The only "weird thing" I noticed is minor. For example in the motorbike level, at the end, a ship appear on the background... how can that kind of ship be faster than Ryo on his bike? That makes a weird effect.... I think the ship should appear from the right of the screen.
 
Well, the ship is faster because videogames 😉

Did you unlock the Fatal Fury characters?

Yes, but I didn't finished the game with them. The next time I will delete all the save and config files and I will put your version that is uploaded here. I play OpenBOR games on the Wii, so let's hope everything work fine.
Does the game have any other secret characters? Is King playable? :P Is Kasumi over there? :P :P
I don't know then why these people released that "fixed" version if you said that your module works without any bugs.

I thought it was some kind of fix for something that was wrong and was causing problems to play the game... People needs to respect the autors works and ask for permission.
About the characters... Ohhh, what a pity! But don't worry, the game is good enough as it is. Would you add them in the future? King shouldn't be too much complex to add as she already is in the game as an enemy and Kasumi, well, she will require more work, but I think she will be a great addition to the game :D
I know you are working in other projects and this one is too old, but I think it is one of the best games.
Other small error I noticed is that Ryo's palette has lost one color (the lighter one of the kimono). Was this intentional or is there a mistake?
Other is when you are about to fight agaisnt Mickey Rogers. Some soldiers goes out of the screen running, but the running sound continues playing too much time. That sound should stop before it does.
 
The mod is finalized the way i released it, no further updates from my part at least, would be a waste of my time.

Just want to hop on and tell you that this mod is quite possibly the greatest beat em up I have played in my life, everything in this mod is just so well done and does a fantastic job of following one of my favorite fighting game franchises of all time.  Thanks for making such a great game!!

Hi @Mr.Q!
I downloaded it and I was playing it and I found a bug. I'm testing on the Wii, so I'm not sure if this happens in the PC version. The bug happens at the stage 3, when the helicopter appears and throw the missiles. If you die a life with one of the missiles, the character will be there in firing animation forever and the new life won't start... Could you check it for a possible fix?
I will tell you if I found any other issue.

EDIT: I noticed it happens with the soldiers that throw grenades. If you die firing by a granade it happens too...
And in the fire that appears on the floor... and with Mr. Big attack... so it seems it happens always that you die with fired animation.

EDIT 2: Tested on PC and this happens too.

There was a "loop 1" on burn animations I removed it from all player/enemy animations that have the loop. Tthe music files are in old bor format I changed all them to ogg format cutting the size of the mod in half.

I really like the new music on this mod :)
