this game is really well made. its amazing how the little details like the black bars that go down the screen make it feel like an old authentic chinese kung fu movie. only completed the air and earth guardian but if those are original designs and sprites it is very good. the game is amazing from the design to the gameplay. another thing that reminded was old bruce lee movies, be nice if fei long was incorporated into the game in a future update. anyways the game is very good.

Extremely well done bro loving the old school kung fu style and music lol!! I noticed that if you don't know what your doing the AI will screw your ass by juggling you around lol!! That happened to me a few times bro!!

Thank you guys! Glad you're enjoying the game. I always thought Martial Masters was a hidden gem that many people didn't know about, with sprites as good or better than many Street Fighter characters (and drawn in a similar style which makes mash ups really fun).
I was part of a project on MUGEN where a few of us ripped the sprites (each character had thousands!) slowly and painfully and got most of the characters playable.
I thought it would be fun to make an OpenBOR game, using the mythology from Once Upon A Time In China movies, since many of the Martial Masters characters are inspired by it.

Any possibility for any of these 3 masterpieces to be ported to Dreamcast or a modified Dreamcast ? I have seen a large amount of OpenBOR games coming to Dreamcast the last few years and these 3 masterfully thought out beauties would really be great to have on the most underrated game console ever!
