new npcs should come to replace this spots, Angel was a NPC too, at X-men Team mode.
so far i have only luke cage and ant-man to new NPCs, i have bases for more, but i just like to reveal stuffs after it be confirmed.

Missing playables:
- deadpool (wondering about use mvc sprites)
- Black panther (sprites in progress by Cyrus)
- invisible Girl (Sprites done)
- Jubilee (Sprites in progress by Warecus)

and this should be final roster.
 
You should put some chars at least in cameo appearance.

As far as I remember, the remaining traditional/popular chars are (excluding the "cosmic" chars):
Dr Strange -> sprites in "War of Gems"
Scarlet Witch -> Selene could be base
Quicksilver -> he's on "Cap & Avengers", but I personally didn't that sprite
WonderMan -> idem
Spider-Woman-> I did a sprite but I think it needs some adjusts
Mockingbird -> not hard to find a base

Rogue -> maybe resizing her capcom arcade sprite
Iceman -> idem
Emma Frost -> idem

Blade -> skinny guy, with a blade and trench... this one might be harder


"B-list"
Valkyrie, Sif, Hercules
 
I think he is doing 90s version of the marvel world.. I think he wants emma and selene as enemies :)
 
btw, someone can rip for me rogue from genesis' x-men 1?
2 or 3 sprites i tink....

i want to add somes itens to summon NPC, like maximun carnage game.

i had a sheet from rival turf (or rushing beat?) with a perfect head to quicksilver, but cant find where i got it.

and like esn23 said, i want to add black and white queen like enemys.

Fans asked for it, she was one of more requested at survey, here and at forums, so i found a nice base, and she will be playable for sure (already reduced hair and head size after upload this gif)

small nitpick: I think that pose makes she looks like she's never been in a fight before. It's the legs, I think. I mean, why is she scared? she's got super strength! 90's Rogue is more confident in herself - unlike the angsty EMO version of Evolution cartoon (which I also love).

Other than that she looks great but, err.... will her breasts do *that* in game?  :o

Well, if you're using Selene as enemy you can't use her as base for Scarlet Witch. Unfortunelly there is no Selene on the Genesis' version of Adamantium Rage (the sprites for this version are great).

I really liked Rogue! As was already said, her face would be even better with "more hapinees and less hentai".

If you're following 90's Avengers, I think Spider-Woman wouldn't be an important member although she's a classic character (since 1977  :o). Here's my first try on her sprite.

Mockingbird could have Kunoichi as base.
 
I'm not familiar with Mockingbird, except for that Marvel Facebook game, but that would be an excellent base.

Your Spider-Woman looks amazing! Very clean and sharp sprite. If I'm not mistaken, Pierwolf started a Marvel mod long time ago, back in Lavalit, and someone sent him a SpiderWoman spritesheet (could even be his creation, I'm not sure).  I think it was based on SNES Psylocke.
 
I will try to convert Spider-Woman sprites (from "Avengers Alliance" to "16bits style") after Black Panther, this is something I was already planning to do. She can be a "sidequick" or cameo...

Thanks man! This was my very first custom sprite I did "from zero", thanks to Kiwi's tutorials at 2dwillneverdie site. About the spritesheet, it isn't mine, I just did this single sprite.
 
one more ideia, (a easy one) looks like i cant do like i planned about item peform the anim to summon NPC, thats mean each char will have a "weapon" to use this item, so i added one more atribute to chars, "leadership" and it will determine how good will be your item summon helper, example:

IMO this is not good idea cause AFAI can tell, some characters prefers to fight alone.
