Hey man, I just joined exclusively on this forum to say this game is AWESOME! Thanks for the constant updates and work!

I see Shovel Knight but no Shantae so far, do you have plans to bring her to the game? Since it's 8 bit styled, I guess her Game Boy Color sprites would work neatly.

I love seeing Doropie and many other fanservice faces in there.

Also what are the chances for Roll Caskett and Tron Bonne? There's a game called Mega Man CalEdit that already made Tron's sprites: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJj9MA9CYTc

Real talk, this is by far, the best game I have seen on OpenBOR yet. Like don't get me wrong, there are a lot of great games on OpenBOR, but most of them are basically just throwing random crap into a blender and releasing it as though we haven't seen it before. As for suggestions for this game, I honestly don't have any besides these two things:

1) Improve the AI
For some reason, much of the AI, especially the characters that walk around, tend to be really dumb and will walk into a wall and just stand there until you get close enough for them to attack you.

2) Add more characters
I mean, let's be honest, you've already started in adding Street Fighter X Mega Man, so I kind of hope to see all the other characters from that added as either playable or as bosses to face against. Then of course, there are still more NES characters which would fit in quite nicely into this game, such as all the characters from that Super Mario Bros Crossover flash game (which sadly, nobody has bothered to fix version 3.0+ to be playable offline yet). But a good number of characters, such as Ryu Hyabusa, Pit, etc could easily be added to this. I mean, that's kind of the big thing about games like these, the biggest update anyone wants, is for more characters to be added. Which, speaking of more characters... you could always add in those Pocket characters from Neo Geo Pocket, such as Metal Slug, SNK, Street Fighter, etc. I'm sure there's a lot of stuff which can be added, and most of it can basically be skin-swaps of other already made characters. WHICH SPEAKING OF... how come nobody has bothered to make a proper Metal Slug version of OpenBOR, and I'm not talking a fighter either, I'm talking like... actual Metal Slug sprites from the games 1 through X and all that, plus those mobile games, which add in like 300+ additional characters in the same style as the original Metal Slug games. Personally I'd do it myself, but I'm having a hard enough time just adding in one character to OpenBOR in general.

3) More stages
Obviously, just like with characters, the more stages, the merrier.

WITH THAT SAID, if you need any help doing this, I will GLADLY take all the time in the world to export sprites from mobile games, from basically any source I can, export stages and maps from other games like Mega Man, I'll definitely be down to help out, cause this game has some serious potential to become one of the most played games out there. I know it's a lot of work to do this on your own, and I'm sure myself, as well as many other people in this community, would be honored in helping this grow beyond proportions to be expected. Like... I'm not saying the growth can be endless, but it might as well be, since there are an abundance of characters and stages which would be pretty amazing to see in this, as well as the option to play and fight against every character as well in a Smash-esque style of gameplay.

But yeah, I want to thank you so much for this, and I especially want to thank the creators of OpenBOR, this engine is truly amazing, and deserves a lot of attention and respect for being something that practically anyone can learn and create something with, it's actually way easier to make something on this, than it is for MUGEN. That said, it is still a tad bit complicating, but that's to be expected, it would take years to make something as simplistic and basically hand-holding like RPG Maker.

ANYWAYS... keep doing what you do, thank you so much for creating this, and take as much time as you need, you deserve a lot of respect for making this outstanding game.

I never would have believed that Street Fighter x Mega Man would be an official game released in 2012. Did Megaman Armada inspire you?
