Multiverse Meltdown

In Progress Multiverse Meltdown [6.0] 6.0

No permission to download
The project is currently under development.
For the Foot:

* Saizo (Power Instinct series)
* Ninja (Body Blows)
* You could also ask Maggas for use of his edited ninja from WHSJE.

Thanks Miru. If nothing else turns up, I'll just go with the Ninja from Body Blows, because the other 2 are too distinctive from the Foot.

The next update is ready, this is as much as I wanted to get done before returning to Sonic Revolution.

A new demo stage has been added, where you fight Hauzer from Red Earth, but since that game was mainly about bosses, I made a copy of Hauzer and shrunk him to make smaller mooks called Dino. lol

Bringing in 2 stages from one of my older WIPs, Cosmic Damage. Each playable character from that mod has been ported over and slightly modified each in some way, namely speed. Samus is the only character who wasn't brought over sadly. Due to Nintendo's, uh, conduct, on youtube and fangames, I don't feel safe adding characters from their IP's anymore. Samus will be replaced by another character I've already decided upon, and she will be in the next update.

My recent WIP Beast mode. Aside from Colors palettes, nothing has been with Adeg or Condoroc. A new character was added, Neku from The World Ends with you(same game as the hooded reaper enemies). Neku was already mostly done before the first demo I released for Beast Mode, but I didn't get him done in time for SAGE so he didn't make it for the demo.

While it's obvious that this game is getting really mixed with graphics, most of which will be contained in their own levels unless I have further plans, but you're still free to play as any character in any stage, so if you run into the Cosmic Damage or Beast Mode stages as big characters like K', Earthworm Jim, or Spawn or vice versa, that's up to you.  ;D
Here's the download.

Cool. As for Zero, you could use the SvC version of Megaman Zero, or a custom MvC set, if you want old-school Zero. Someone also made a custom white Bomberman (shiro) in mugen. http://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/bomberman-released-bubblun-updated-gladiacloud-170601.0.html

That wont work for Cosmic Damage though, which is the mod he was made for. Unless I use Zero for another mod, this is all he'll have.

So the CD cast are a temporary thing until CD's update is made? That's the impression I get. But if you want to keep Zero in Super Universe Brawl...

I don't know how you're getting this impression, the cast of CD will remain as is. I made SUB to work on my other projects aside from SBMM and SR at once, not to conform them all to the same mod.

Ah cool. That's fine.

Ok, now that I got Sonic Revolution updated and out of the way, I wanted to come back to this for a spell for some ideas I had and wanted to do some light work on. ATM I'm almost done with this addition, X and Zero are being added with their own stage.

My idea goes further then this though. I went with the two of them cause I thought it would be cool to make something like this flash video I found recently, though that wont happen entirely based on the gameplay this is based on but X and Zero's special moves were more or less inspired by this.

Can I give a feedback? If you mix the different type of shadows makes it look very weird:

I know sometimes the circular shadow looks better, but then I think you need to remove the blurried border and make it with hard border, like I did here at the hook

I really just through the enemies from the Megaman Legends mod, and some of Cosmic Damage so it wasn't intentional. I'll add that to my todo list.

Yeah that looks better, I don't usually use the original shadows too often, but that might be better for flying enemies who have to be hit with a jump attack so you can see where they are. In this case, it's just the green one closest to X and Zero.

I wonder if there's a method to give a flying enemy a faded shadow. And I could easily find sprites for some of the other X-era heroes:

Don't know of Iris would fit into my idea since she was an NPC who turned to a boss in armor. It's a hard maybe. Also, I thought the only missing hero here was Axl, which I plan to fix shortly.

Also, I may as well say this now, I'm just starting with the X series, my idea is going to bring other Megaman heroes into this.

Maybe Iris is brought back from the grave from a shard of her armored mutant form? Perhaps as a "ghost", she could phase through things?

I do count Alia, who was playable in X8, as a hero.

And Axl sounds like a cool idea as well.

Well given my plans and the fact her brother, the colonel, will be involved, I guess this isn't too much of a reach.

I had never played X8, just 4, 5 recently, some of 2, and I think some of 7.

Yeah I had honestly forgot about him but I was rushing this for this years SAGE, so I got another month now. After Axl though I wanna do something small for Beast Mode. That's why this mod is so convenient for me. ;)

I had just finished Axl a couple days ago, he just needs color palettes. Beast mode will get 2 fill stages, unlike the Hubs stages, with a mid in the works now. The enemies will remain the same for now, I don't want to go cramming a bunch of stuff at one time again. Getting Beast Modes stages to be consistent in graphics will be a challenge because not many games have the style I'm looking for that's used in The World Ends with You, which is shown in the second shot, which is why the third shot is from Streets of Rage. I have a plan that may fix this though, but this is all for now.

Another update on SUB, a few moths ago I had this Gundam kick and watched 4 series of it, Gundam00, Wing, and both series of SEED. I decided afterward that I would make a mod based on Gundam after seeing there were some 2D games, most I'm going to take those and instead of fighting other Gundams, they fight giant monsters. Here's some shots of what little I've got done. The background will be changed soon.

The Gundam idea looks really cool. Gundams Fighting Metal Gears has a real charm to it.

Actually that's just the monsters name, there's nothing Metal Gear related in this but one thing, and you'll find out shortly why I picked Metal Gear for the demo, lol.

Great!
You ought to bring Big Zam as enemy too  ;D ;D
Damn that walking godzilla sized tank, it leaves and impression doesn't it? I've never even seen him in the anime(I barely watched it) but he's in all but one of the Gundam games I've played. Anyway, he could be used as an enemy, but not for this though. When I said Gundams fighting monsters, I meant all Gundams(or any other mobile suites)  ;)

I also decided to record some gameplay when I finished this stage for Gundams vs Monsters. Once you hear the music, you'll know why I choose to use a monster named "Metal Gear".

EDIT: Made a recording of the new Beast Mode stage.
