8) ok how's it going everyone hope you're all well feels great to be onboard, so anyways i decided to work on a x-men (cota style) mod basically to make a story line for my mod, my computer's been acting up waitly its been known to crash and run super slow iv'e always have to reboot it re-organize my data which is a huge pain its a possibility that the pc im using right now might go dead so hopefully i can get a new pc and not having to worry about this annoying restart process,but anyway still some work to be done but this is my progress so far

nice, i will make an xmen 1990 style too once i finish mine,
the first tip i can say to you about design is the 320x240 resolution for those size of sprites are too small and they get too big on screen for this

i think 640x480 is a good resolution for this size, i personally use 960x540

what your plans for rogue and his drain powers?
 
Yes I do plan on giving rogue and wolverine their mutant powers and plus blocking is an added feature, story arc will be based on the 1990's comics, and before I can make a download link I need to fix a few errors but yes I can fix the resolution screen.

Welcome to the forum, buddy. I assume that everything we see is still in early stages, right? Because those default lifebars need to be changed :)

About the resolution, I suggest you to use at least a wide screen, like 480x272 and don't go beyond 640 width - it will render the sprites too small and it will have performance issues in some systems.
 
Yes, far better!
This way all entities movements will be better.
Also, 2 players game can be more interesting with some space.

With this wide screen, you can bring big enemies such as sentinels and robots ;)

Yes that'll be perfect and I plan on using enemies from cota and also some from the comics, I'm trying to make this relatable to the comics (91 and uncanny).

I should mention that they don't have complete frames like original by PrimeOp i.e one has jumpattack without punch while the other has punch without jumpattack
 
oh looks cool so far , hope we get a demo one day , so glad Rogue is in it love her x-men vs street fighter sprites.
