it is for android only is like some custom openbor build just for his game
DC maybe should look to this project
i was able to get the data.pak from his apk file but it is encrypted and when use paxplode everything is corrupted, but i was able to extract everything using game extractor just for test

but his android build is very interesting and also a diamond market system dont know if players should buy diamonds to unlock characters or collect it in game
its a very cool game but i dont know if it follow the openbor rules of use

Since OpenBOR is open-source, means he has to put his source code (or part of it if he modified only some aspects) in public as well as crediting OpenBOR Team for creating the engine (like when you close OpenBOR and you see the "Credits" screen with all the developers contributing it as well as a LICENSE.TXT or something). I don't know if the license reflect this as well, but that's what I see among other licenses as well.

Plus the developer also needs to acknowledge the APK here at ChronoCrash so everyone here can be aware of this.

@DC, the License.txt needs to be updated somewhat since the License.txt still places Roel's name in the copyright notice and other things that need to be straightened (I think) ...
 
Awh darn it. I was looking forward to playing this game on PC.

Did anyone try running it in Bluestacks the android emulator?

So disappointing.  :'( Looks like Volcanic has quit us for good?

I didn't know we had rules of use ???, and it don't seem any different from what is possible on the current OpenBor build. Volcanic has imagination. Ive been working on my project for 3 years now, but it all seems like a waste. Thankfully I see it as a hobby.

Even the original BOR has a license. It's more or less the same as any open source. It basically amounts to don't take credit for what isn't yours, and do go off and make branches without merging your adds to the original engine. The former is obvious. The latter is to keep from having thirty different OpenBOR's out there, each doing something the other doesn't and forcing authors to sacrifice one bit of functionality to get another. That's not even taking into account confusing all the non community end users who wouldn't know which is which.

Volcanic is an impressive artist true, but as you say, there's nothing in his modules the main engine can't do. The license is legit and exists for good reasons.

Caught my attention there ;) I can't say for now though, the Pan Baidu link is down and the other Baidu link is a bit confusing, even with Translate on.

It shouldn't. As far as I knew from what he's been doing in the past version of this, he uses a modified OpenBOR engine. He made the pak unreadable on the official OpenBOR builds, so yeah, you really couldn't play it unless you have his unpacker and repack it for the official version.
 
It's a shame he has not yet released a PC version, the game is very good for the Android version, it's a good job the Volcanic.

With the current situation, I might not think so, maybe if Volcanic comes to Chrono Crash or something, but either way, he's making money off of OpenBOR without compensating the team, so there's that. Just saying ...
 
There was a mediafire link IIRC where he uploaded a lot of mod edits, I downloaded NightSlasherUltimate from there (I've lost the link though).  Would the Obor exe in those games possibly load the new mod?
