How do I become a openbor video game coder? N what do I have to learn?
 
And don't forget to play some mods. You need to know and feel how the engine works yourself before you start modding :)
 
Yes I play all the time my all time favorite is king of dragon and battletoad double dragon. This engine has inspired me to learn video game programming.
 
Yep, modding is good first step. Most if not all modders here started by MODifying something in a mod ;)
 
Blood bane does the manual teach all I need to know to start ? And do I need any certain program for this?
 
You will need OpenBOR ;)

OpenBOR modding is essentially just editing text files and images.  So at some point you will need image software like photoshop, gimp etc..

Download the GUI 'OpenBOR Stats' - LINK
Open some mods with it and see how things work.  The manual should have everything you'll need for now.

The original BOR edit pack is also good to get started

Make sure to update to the latest OpenBOR build.
