A new trailer! 
I don't want to be that guy, but this looks... terrible. I mean like holy crap painful to watch terrible. Honestly this revival crop of beat em' ups all look the same to me. They're all one of two aesthetics - horribly generic or way over stylized. That's not the thing that really bugs me though. It's the animation and impact. There just isn't any. Hits don't really connect. Grapples are an afterthought, and don't have any proper binding. Animation is a stuttery mess that reminds me of all those old flash games, and this game is the worst of it in a while.
It's not rocket science. This is all stuff they got right back on the NES, and yet somehow modern devs just can't seem to figure it out.
I love me some modern graphics, but that means animation too. If you can't do that with some basic level of alacrity all those pretty cell shades might as well be blocks on the 2600.

Hey guys, I'm sorry if my post offended you and isn't a great contribution. 
I honestly never knew the original game, but when I saw the trailer for this game, I found it curious and wanted to share it on the forum.
There is no doubt that it is a product that needs to polish too many things...

Don't take it personally @dantedevil, it's not like we think it reflects on you. Nobody is mad you posted. We (or at least I) were just expressing a negative opinion of the game itself. Maybe others in the forum have a different outlook.

as for the art - somebody came to my neighborhood and took scans of walls cars and trucks....
very Odd... this is the worst cholo art i could find EN EL GUgle - for comparison...
its a so bad is good situation, the Strange intersection of medium skills & try-hard epicness...
if the controls are good at least, its surely a goofy fun time.... the video game version of The room, or Cats 2019...

This game is made for fundraising money from like 7 years ago , the original game that was released on amiga in early 90s had some final fight samples and animations of cody dressed up as different character, it actualy was a hit and also only 2 beatemups were released in poland so it had its slum theme that was quite funny back then in the 90s and people actually recognized streets from the game that are real streets in their city, there was a lot of blood, bad language and mechanics were pretty poor but it was a good laugh, its not mean to be serious or pretty.
I hate that new artstyle they chose, paper puppet animations, its truly not polished and for me i prefere first game style.
I aint gonna defend it just cause i was born in Poland but i did enjoyed first one and even did small demo/remake of it in openbor for myself and with 2 players.
I think they rleased it to not get sued by backers, i might try it, maybe it plays better than it looks which should be too hard, asthetics are totally off.
From the comments it looks like people in poland like this one as well... well if you only have 2 other games , they dont have high expectations.
