Art Some pixels I want to show you

The thread is some time of visual artwork like sketch, painting, or sprite work.
Thanks Miru, great work on this pose. this just need a small anim idle and it would be perfect ;). Pixelart is so wonderful :).
 
I'll do a revised idle and maybe a new walk animation for him as well, to make him less like Galsia. I also finished the swordless sprites for Harakiri:

I need to make his “run attack” look more like a karate chop, and add some kick animations to him. Might want to later do a version without his shuriken.
 
Did a new idle for Kid Chameleon. The next animations I want to do are a walk, a jump, a vault, 2 pain animations, and a fall animation.

The thing with the walk is, I want to make it look like the one from the source game, where he has his back leg extended back on the first frame, and his front leg extended forward. I so far don't think I can make that sort of thing for his lower body, so I'll focus on making his upper body now. Any other suggestions?

EDIT: Adding his falling frame. I also now have his walk animation under control, having found a way to deal with his legs.

Also added a revised frame for his vault, also resembling the source game.
 
Thanks Miru, I definitely need to release this new Kid Chameleon character to Sor2x 👍. I think that the walk animation needs to be tested with an animated gif or in-game to see if all frames are OK. Great job on these revised animations, I will use them 😉.

I think I might need to add more bounce to the torso on his idle...

I suggest you to make a small move by one pixel per frame in his idle anim (2 pixels for big sprites like Harakiri). I know that is not easy to create a good walking move, I use Rotsprite for changing angles by 20-30 degrees for the legs and arms.
 
I liked that kid chameleon a lot!!!
So tired of always seeing the same galsias. This one gives a new flavor.

But on his walking anim he looks like he’s rapping on the loose, like the walking from the black fella Bobby from arcade Riot City, or the main character from Treasure Master (nes).

How does it look now?

EDIT: Remember when you did  that sprite set for SOR1 Blaze that you used as Flashgal? I was inspired by it to make a more accurate Flashgal.

The idea is that it fires a large beam of energy, and I might have to add some more elements to sell the beam (lighting changes, the gun going in and out, etc) I also want to add the ability for it to jump while holding its victim, similar to Max.
 
IlyaNev: Your Hitler sprite is nicely done and you can maybye the SOR1 police car as a base for your sprite.

I've made some progress with Douglas (Baldan?) Bear because I always imagine that @O'Ilusionista is behind the mask when I make him :D .

Great job, thanks buddy! I'm ok with integrating him in the SOR1 route, he could be a good sub-boss.
I agree with pepodmc about the throw animation. In addition, some other attacks need to have a more fluid movement. Sometimes he moves only his arms and the body remains static.
 
Thanks for this feedback, I will continue to work on this animation. I think that the good place for him is the unused SOR1 dock stage, right after stage 5. I'll see if I can draw something for this one 😉.
