I like this stage because of the little touches that you added, such as moving cars, motorcycles, clouds, and the sound effects. As a fellow bird watcher, it would be nice to see some birds flyingNew stage that will be included with the upcoming update

I probably won't go that farIf you wanted to go bonkers, the Predators from Aliens vs Predator arcade could abduct the heroes. Kind of like a homage to Silent Hill. I can't wait for the update.
OF course I like....New stage that will be included with the upcoming update

im not a purist guy. I mean, if a change make something better, go ahead. But making the game 50% easier is a bit too much.
Its your game and you make the choice but what makes a game fun its the challenge. Making it bit too easier would be a mistake.
People can practice , they dont have to spend money like in the arcade to improve their gaming skills.
Plus, after people become better, the game will became easier to a point where the game will stop being fun to play. Im saying this in general, applies to every game
On the subject of difficulty i find nothing wrong with it as is i think it's fine. Yeah it can get hard at time's but hey it's final fight it's ment to be a challenge hahaha "Not including FF2 or 3 because both of them are super easy" But like i said before the only issue i had was with Rolento's second phase being almost impossible and random to hit in phase 2.I didn't make the game 50% easier on purpose this is mostly due to the adaptations I made with enemy's movements are still different from the original source,
I do a lot to improve in this aspect especially on the boss so game difficulty becomes more balanced overall
Capcom arcade has made a very good level of difficulty game in my opinion, it's just that the enemy damage is too big and this is the part that I revised but it won't be too much (I balanced it with more health with bosses)
precisely!! I made this mod because I've dreamed of it since a kid to make my own version even so.. I also want this mod to be played for all
every players are different, some like challenge/serious when playing, while others just to relax and enjoy the spare time, as a workaround so I prefer to separate the two. More serious with arcade version while the other one is for casual (more like easy mode)
Thanks for your opinion I need more like this, usually I just watch youtubers play it and draw my own conclusions from what I watch
Don't worry I have fixed Rolento problemsOn the subject of difficulty i find nothing wrong with it as is i think it's fine. At any rate im looking forward to the updated version buddy keep up the good work![]()
Nice! but it need some manual tweaking. (a bit)View attachment 1778
Tried out resizing May from FF3 as a possible new enemy for the new areas of the games. Probably needs some tweaks, but it would be interesting to have another enemy who can throw her. Sheet originally ripped by Dan100 on TSR.
I used an image resizer program designed around Pixel Art.Nice! but it need some manual tweaking. (a bit)
How have you proceded to get this result ? I'm curious.
EDIT, I checked closer, and sadly there is color loss/compression, so they cannot be used this way.
But the idea is good.
Got it...I used an image resizer program designed around Pixel Art.
I was a critic for Electronic Gaming Monthly back in the day. Now I'm a middle aged old fart.haha But it is a real treat to see a site like this and attempts to preserve the legacies of these games!im not a purist guy. I mean, if a change make something better, go ahead.

Wish I had your programming skills. Unfortunately, all I have are ideas.
That said, are you open to suggestions? I covered Street Fighter 2 and Capcom fighting games extensively back in the day. So I have a good mind for what works and doesn't with a game like Final Fight.
Yes please I'm always open to suggestionsAnd I love that you are working to create this enhanced version.
So I'd love to throw my hat in the ring and throw out some suggestions.
Very nice ! It looks soooo "legit". Small detail I noticed.Update Progress
Finally found a good trick for this stage. Been working on it for about 3 weeks now
thanks @Bloodbane and @Kratus for all supports
nice sight NEDVery nice ! It looks soooo "legit". Small detail I noticed.
Until 0:35, you can see a black amount of pixels in the back area of car (corner or something)
Then after toy destroyed some part of the car it disapears. No more visible at 0:39 etc.
Perhaps a ripping leftover. Not sure.
