I pre-ordered this Limited Edition of the game by Limited Run Games ;D It comes with lots of nice stuff.

I almost had no way of getting this because I live in the Netherlands and they don't accept my currency. Fortunately, I found a store in Germany that had this up for pre-order. And since I can pay with Euros in Germany, I immediately went for it

Sigh, i want to play the game , but ....
bloody new console expenses &.....
the art .... why are the Genesis version closer to photorealism than this new one?
i know its a pain to do 3 or 4 to 5 shades kinda like the SNK games, but dagnabbit these people are profesional developers...
the music, i agree it very good & not the over all mess in Bareknuckle 3.
& my biggest pet peeve - the clones
its 2020 for pete's sake , there is ways to make the illusion of variable AI/speed/agression/evasion combinations to throw off the players & there is also ways to make clothes hair & skin color variations appear at random....
then again, maybe i'm the only one in the world who likes randomized & more organic feels on games....

Just had a quick check through it, can confirm it has all the stages and everything else from weapons to reflected surfaces, Pretty much the entire game. Thanks Kratus, I'll play around with this inside openbor but I will not be releasing anything public or privately out of respect to the authors.

the main problem is my lack of space, i use a 120 gb SSD & its full - for every project or experiment i change & have to move files to other HDs
plus i dedicate 50gb to emulators & games for couch multi session s (if they ever happen).
so the first test would have to be on an older machine first (to monitor & see if i can trust parsec)
lets face it, parsec sounds great, but i suspect that they do data mining to some extent & its an opportunity to look for any indications of such.
on the other hand it is most probable that parsec can only work effectively because it does NOT do that
(i distrust steam's playtogether or whatever u call it more)

If I suggest you test parsec inside a virtual machine are you gonna have to test the virtual machine on old IBM HardDisk from the 1960's inside a nuclear test facility before hand too geeeeeeez oldyz haha

It's a good game but I don't think it should of been called sor4 maybe sor 2 ex?
Character sprites are too fat and not as athletic as sor3 sprites but I still like it. Playing streets of rage 2 x openbor on android and the origial sprites still look awesome so crisp on mobile.
Sor4 is in dire need of dlc but I think the game is just too niche. The low price point makes it a worthy purchase though.
They really should have put in a run and dodge ala bk3. Still I give the game an 8 out of 10. Nice to see sega haven't forgotten about sor.

hahahaha It'll definitely be worth it when it's on sale, I'm going to buy it again when it's around £10 + DLC, you're not missing out on anything amazing Nicky but defo worth a couple of play throughs
