int+1... that means it takes a third hit before they'll try to escape. Also, in all cases the hits must be consecutive, as in, they would register as a rush combo.

Thanks a lot O Ilusionista and Damon Caskey. I have already made a few adjustments and the Bosses are actually pretty hard right now (at least Bebop & Rocksteady). I guess I misunderstood the "escapehits" feature. I will definitely try it but regardless, the Bosses are more challenging now.

I had a question: I was wondering if there is a way to prevent the "Escape attack" from happening when a pain animation is being played. So I have several pain animations for the turtles and one of them is the one when they fall into a manhole, it looks cool and all but, when you press the "special" the animation is interrupted and it looks weird. I have also been working on a new title screen:

In general you shouldn't be relying on PAIN# for special animations like that, but if you must check out the Seal command. It should do what you need.

Thanks a lot man!!!  :) I'll check it out when I get home. I didn't know there was an alternative to PAIN# for that type of animation.  :-\

No, no, that's even worse. PAIN# isn't the problem - it's using any animation the engine has default control over. Generally you want to script a forced animation change to one of the FOLLOW# animations. That's because those are never used by the engine unless you specifically set them up to be, nor can they be interrupted by player commands unless set up as such. This makes them much more stable and dependable when you want to make special actions.

Well, this is an  "experiment" that came out pretty sweet. Since there is "A LOT" that I do not know how to do with OpenBOR. I was gonna skip that "Skating" stage from the original TMNT2 or the NES because I couldn't figure how do it. And then I realize that I can still have a "moving" level but put the turtles on their "Turtle Van" instead and well, it turned out to be a pretty cool level after all. I'm also working on a new title screen based on the original NES cover. Here's a video:

Okay, I'm sold, I'm sold.
Good idea to keep the game going without skipping too much.

Almost done but not quite there yet!! Sure, The Technodrome is the last stage but I still need to add that final part with Krang and Shredder. Once I'm done with this level I'm gonna start working on a better presentation with some cutscenes and stuff and then add some extra stages, mostly at the beginning and in-between the original levels. I'm very happy with the results so far. That elevator/lift part was a real "FEMALE DOG" to make. At some point I was thinking about not adding it to the game. I'm glad I changed my mind. Thanks OpenBOR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your project have a lot of potential. I suggest you create a TMNT 2 and 3 remake, adding special moves for each turtles, adding some hidden characters (Splinter, Casey Jones,...) and using only NES bgms to looks like a revamped NES game.
I really like NES based projects. Keep doing this!

@Uche: Yeah, it was but, it was also very, very satisfying once I was done. I feel  like I'm "finally" learning how to use OpenBOR.

@sergiomsousa: Thanks a lot man!! I don't like TMNT3 as much as I like TMNT2, at least not graphicwise, but the gameplay elements in TMNT3 are more interesting, overall. I will definitely add some moves from TMNT3, I added an extra "slide" move and a "My Toes" pain animation from "Turtles in Time".

@mersox: Thanks a lot man!! Much appreciated!! I'm really looking forward to your project!!
