Trying to make my own game

Hello everyone.

I apologize in advance if I'm posting in the wrong place or for any nonsense I might say here.

I've always liked beat 'em up games; I think it's probably my favorite game genre.

When I discovered OpenBOR, I was impressed by the work fans were doing with the games. And I felt the urge to make something personalized. Since being diagnosed with depression, I've been trying to keep my mind active and occupied. So I'm diving into this project.

I don't understand anything about programming yet and have almost no knowledge of art editing. I live in a small town in Brazil, and the idea of the game is to take place in that town. The characters will be some of my friends. It's more for fun among us.

I intend to absorb as much content as possible from the community here; for now, I've only made a few levels. (Attached) If anyone can give me feedback on whether I'm on the right track.

It's great to use AI to realize your ideas and give them a graphical representation; however, you will quickly encounter the following limitations:

1) The lack of pixel-perfect graphics and the issues with stable and optimized color palettes
2) Problems in creating all character animations: AI may be good at creating a still image; creating a coherent walking animation, for example, is another story.
3) Inconsistent perspective and issues with different sprite sizes

AI can be a good assistant, but it is not yet ready, graphically speaking, to create good animations for a beat 'em up character.
