Canceled X-men Clone Wars

Project is halted prior to completion and will not receive further updates.
I agree with Beastie about resolution, you should use wider resolution for better gameplay.

As for video, nice work!

There are couple suggestions:
1. Rooftop where Gambit is fighting looks too small compared to him. You either rescale the background OR remove the building on the left to solve this
2. I believe you should use DEATH 2 for enemies. I find it odd to see ninjas immediately fallen to ground without getting knocked 1st
3. Storm's whirlwind should launch enemies high upwards

I love how you add static enemies here (laser bots). That's how you should spawn them :)
 
Thank you guys. I'll look over the tips! The laser bots are fixed in the scenarios, are then generated with "spaw" to hide them on the wall ... :)
 
Nice concept there. :) Magneto does a dodging with a big shield around him when he's evading. I'd suggest you could make Magneto evade without using a shield.
 
I like the idea, but I have some feedback since I am used to that MVC sprites:

- why do you have mirroed small portraits on the select screen? (although its not on the video anymore)

- The shock animation is a bit weird. Cyclops is standing on the air then suddenly appears on the ground. I suggest you to rotate it 45º at least, to give a more smooth transition.

- Waiting animations are a bit clunky, specially on Cyclops. Beast should wait to open the book, for example. Nobody open and closes the book on that way :)

- Cyclops animation velocities are almost all off. His walk animation speed doesn't matches with his walking velocity. His jump attack animation is slow.

- you need to work more on jumpland and fall animation speed. Many MVC chars uses more than one frame for both cases, and when he is bouncing on the floor, he could use more frames (and Cyclops have those frames, as every MVC Mugen char)

- Rooftop stage is smaller than the chars on it. Plus, the shadow direction is wrong (look at the higher part at the left). Why the Eagle have no shadow?

I dont recommend that, it would be cheating, just kill group of enemies then wait for life to be 100% again and move on.

By the way, referring to original X Men Clone Wars, why don't you limit maximum health to recover to? IIRC in original game, Wolverine can only recover health to 3 bar, no more.

You should do the same in your mod say Wolverine only recovers health up to 30% of maximum health

This won't be right, Wolverine's healing factor can heal him fully.
But maybe you can make it heal slower when he has low health. Big damages takes more time to recover
 
And he just told yall he doesn't know how to code. Mind helping him out? I would if I could but I've neaver seen thins "healing factor" done in BOR.

I gave him the code at Atlas some months ago.
 
Sweet mod, but the screen resolution should be higher. Everything is too big to fit in the viewing window.
