Today, I completed the drawing at the very bottom, continuing the special move cut-in I drew previously.

But it's too early to feel relieved, because there's so much work to be done, so we'll have to finish it all up later.

Game development is nearing completion. Although it's a demo version, it's taking this long, so we're planning to split the stages into separate parts. This game only covers Stage 1. For the parts covered in the video, I've inserted demo screens and completed the how-to-play guide.

I tried to run it and Windows Antivirus flags it as a trojan (probably because you packed it into a single exe)
It's a misdiagnosis, but it's true that the game was compressed into one. I'd like to find a program that doesn't give me a misdiagnosis.

Again Congratulations for the release of this demo.
Let's be direct : This is the best Kunio experience in term of quality of gameplay and quality of visuals. Above any other Kunio Kun official game.
The chibi/SD aspect have never been my (fav) stuff but you really gave it a really pleasing rendering. Same for the characters in stages.
I really hope this project of yours will progress again and will be completed.
This one HAVE to exist! :)
Also, I can't wait to watch about the other characters. Particularly Hasebe. (And Riki of course)
 
Hey buddy, I gave it a try and here are my impressions:

PROS
The presentation is spectacular. It doesn't look like a fan game; people in the chat took a while to realize it was a fan game and even said it looks better than several official games.

The combat is frenetic, and I liked that!

Being able to sit on an enemy on the ground and punch them is really cool, haha. I'd like to apply that to my games, if they didn't have 6686872343 characters lol

The animation when you defeat the boss is quite cinematic, I really liked that.

The game is difficult, very difficult! I played on easy and even then some enemies almost massacred me.

There's no breakout to escape enemy attacks - if they start a combo against you, you have no choice but to take the beating.

But I see a lot of potential in the game, it's on the right track :)

Thank you. The problem with my game is that once you're attacked by an enemy, there's no way to avoid it.

Unlike other games, there's no Mega Crash evasion technique, but that's because it reflects the original game's direction.

I'll consider addressing that in the next update.

I watched the gameplay video. Did you encounter any issues? It looks like the aerial special move isn't working in the video, but it worked fine when I tested it. If it's due to a different executable version or another reason, please let me know.

I tested the issue of the jump special move being canceled, as seen in the game footage. I confirmed that the special move would be canceled if the attack and special buttons were pressed simultaneously while jumping. While the move would normally be activated by pressing only the special button while jumping, this issue occurs when pressing them simultaneously. This is an unexpected input issue, so I'll look into a solution later.

I fixed the air attack cancellation issue by adding "noaircancel 1" to Model.txt. It's a minor change, but I'll upload it again.
 
I merged the threads because there's no need to have two separate topics about the same topic, I removed the third party link, I uploaded the game to the resource section, (please change the description, add videos, icons and pictures) linked the download to this discussion (download is the green button, top right corner of this page) and I made @DD Tokki owner of resource.
