That is the problem: I would need to add a new move for EVERY playable char. And we are talking about of more than 30 players. For some chars, this would be not easy to make (plus, this there is another problem which I can't spoil the surprise now). The code, per se, is easy - its just a local variable check.
 
You're thinking something like MSH Reality Gem, right?
Can't you summon an entity and bind it to player's position, like Megaman's Leaf Shield? It could be a fire/ice aura that follows him around. Or it could be invisible and while it's in effect, it uses a function that checks when player pushes attack button - and then that entitity (and not the player) shoots a fireball, lightning bolt, ice whatever.
I assume you could just change some parameters like speed, stealth, defense... that would be easier and just as effective.

nice job on beast gba sprites, fit really well.

what you tink about make this fall objects with default shadow? not the gfx one, this way we know where they will fall. or maybe set
light  0 [anynumber], then we know at least Z position of fall point.

im not sure about this herc, fit to others style? will wait for his video.
 
beast's new grabs are AMAZING!
I can totally hear him quote some classic literature while he kicks opponents face (spider-man would make jokes).

The boat level is fantastic. Seems very hard. But that's Ilu-style, I suppose...  ;)

Maybe I will do it. The idea came from the 64th the Detective History, where the boxes falls from the sky and, if I am not wrong, you have no idea where they will fall.

Yes, he fits on the style and history. Hercules and Thor are friends and rivals, they had helped each other many times.
On the game, He will be playable only after the Greece stage, where Encantor is wreaking havoc.

Yeah, lol. The tankers and BlackCat has no problems with that stage (thanks to her probability field), but I will tone it down a bit, maybe removing some shooters. Its a bit too hard for a second stage.

The next floor will have some light effects and more traps.
 
@Beastie - the problem is not only the size, but the width, They are a bit skinny, no?
I need some enemies with "dive suits", any clue? I remember Shinobi arcade, but I would need to edit it a lot

Talking about edits, I've done a Viper edit, how it sounds?

she looks cool. :)
the colors seem a bit dark (but maybe that's just the pose that is making her torso indistinguishable), and the hair is a little too "wavy" for my Viper-taste, but I don't think it's bad - up until the end of the 80's, big hair was the standard. ;)

Let's see what I can get from memory:
1. (secret agent game) (arcade); Ack I finished this game years ago without knowing name of the game  :'(
2. Metal Slug series (arcade); I have to check which ones who DON'T have scuba divers
3. Gourmet Sentai Bara Yarou (SNES); These enemies are funny TBH
4. Knuckle Bash (arcade);

Oh do you want these enemies to walk on ground or swim in water?
