About the game, I will take a break from it for some time. I was bite by the Mugen bug again :)
This doesn't means I will stop working on it - it will just get slower than the usual.

Also, I will be away from the forum too, for some time. I will appear here and there, but mostly to post my mugen stuff.

Here is one of the new bosses from the game: Baron Zemo, edited by Gate. I need to find a Voice Actor for him, so I am open for sugestions.

In the last release, many people complained about Militant being the final boss of the game and of the Hydra base. But there is an explanation for that:
That is NOT the true Hydra Base, neither Militant is the final boss. On the next release, when you reach the final part of Hydra base, you will see Zemo, which escapes and let you fight with Militant instead. The same will happens with Viper: you don't kill her when you beat her, but she will escapes and you should fight her later. Actually, you don't kill any boss on the game, just defeat them.

Jhfer worked on some new characters too:

Blitzkrieg (a Electrokinesis/lightning user), Vanguard (russian mutant, brother of Darkstar) and Arnim Zola (boss).
We are still deciding if the first two will be NPC or playable characters.

 
Can I try to do Baron Zemo's voice? And I think Vanguard should be playable with Blitzkrieg serving as an NPC.

Costumes:
Classic, Movie, Captain America, Earth X, Pelgrin, 90's era

Falcon can turn into a very rich character, since we can have many options based on his costume. My idea is to make some different attacks based on his costume:

• Movie: Fire guns
• Captain America: Cap´s Shield throw
• Others: Open to ideas
My goal is to make different moves so we almost can have different characters on the same character. But I can't make one of the versions way too powerful over others.

My main question is about Redwing, his falcon companion:
Telepathic link: Sam was given the ability to telepathically link with birds endowed by the Red Skull using the Cosmic Cube. This link is strongest with his companion Redwing but he is also able to extend his empathic link to other birds making it possible for him to see through their eyes. He has also shown the ability to control birds.

So how should I implement Redwing?
A) Chase Falcon (like Nakoruru from Samurai Shodown or Shadow Dance's Yamato) and attack the enemies only when Falcon order it to attack? (This would be his freespecial)

B) Fight on its own (kinda like Beast's bot)

I am busy with other things right now, but I like to organize things before start making, so any adice are welcome.

Have Redwing change based on pallete. Maybe for 90s, it's a chase falcon, but in Classic it fights on its own?

Hmmm... Falcon could have a move in which he flies forward slashing anything in his path, not sure which costume this move is for. He's not invincible in this move of course
 
I've been working, on my spare time, in some improvements for the current stages for the Avengers United Battle Force game. Which includes some animations and some details for the ones who has good eyes to catch.

In the example above, some modifications were made to make the doors looks less "cloned"  and more unique - as you can notice in the door at right. There will be some light animations too and some hydra's logo here and there:

I know those details won't make huge difference, but I like to make things with a lot of 'tiny details'.

There are a lot of details which most people won't get it, but I still think its fun to add :)

New attack for Captain America

I always wanted to add a move like Captain America's uppercut move from MVC (stars & stripes), so I decided to include it for the next version.
But it will work only in Bucky outfit/mode, so it will make this version more different from the other:

Normal mode
D, F + Attack: Shield Crash
D, U + Attack: Charging Stars
Attack (hold): Shield Bash

Bucky mode
D, F + Attack: Justice Shot (ranged gun attack)
D, U + Attack: Star & Stripes
Attack (hold): Shield Crash
 
Yes, but unless they aren't too much different - i won't repeat the mistake I did for Spider-Woman.
For example, IronMan and WarMachine will have more than 1 different mode.
 
Did something go wrong with Spiderwoman? :S I thought she was great!

Awesome that there'll be other modes for characters though. I really love what you did with Iron Man's flamethrower and such :)
 
About the Spider-woman, the main problem is that both modes are VERY different and this is a nightmare to code.
For example, one mode can fly, both the other not; One mode should be immune to poison, while the other not and so on...

Also, her hypermove (web mode) can make some weird bugs to occur, like she getting out of the screen.

This is so damn cool :) Now I want one so bad! He said the control remap works perfectly.

Some quick news:
- Finally, I fixed all the bugs from Spider-Woman. Now her ultra move doesn't makes her outside of the screen.
- War Machine now has a new attack - front kick edited by RamzaNeko. This made WM looks more aggressive

I'm thinking Hulk should have a Merged Hulk/Professor mode.  Better combos at the cost of less armor and slower speed.

Could Cap have a mode similar to Abigail Brand's shooting gameplay? Maybe the 1940s film serial version or Isiah Bradley?

And by the way, War Machine's kick looks sick. And will you show the quadruped burn sprites I sent a while back?
