just completed this game and it was interesting.  It still feels like a WIP there is a lot more you could do with the combat system and there is a lack of special moves.  The cut-scenes were great really took me back to watching this as a kid I was so scared of Freddy back then.  The shadow Freddy as well as all the boss Freddy seemed like the same fight you need to make him different on each encounter in my opinion.  You walk so slow it is hard to dodge the wheel chair as well as the floor claws they seem so cheap.

still a enjoyable game and I loved the original sprite work well done.

Thank you for taking the time to play it.  All good points.  I'm currently in the process of addressing issues.  Just for curiosity sake, which version have you played?  The current one has introduced dodging and running as well as a few boss tweaks.  I'm currently working on weapons for the next iteration.

Hello again, everyone!  I recently released an update to Dreams of Rage that, I feel, rounds it out rather nicely.  I know that there is still criticisms that could be addressed, but I need to move on to bigger and better things.  I used DoR as a learning experience to understand the capabilities of the engine, trying to make something as close to Streets Of Rage as I could.  I just wanted to let you all know that as of now I think that the version available is as complete as I want it to be and I hope everyone can enjoy.

Moving forward I've begun work on a new Mod that is going to be 100% original.  It'll still be a horror beat'em up in the same vein as DoR, but my own story.  It involves a demonic carnival that manifests every 50 years or so to take the souls of unfortunate mortals.  A young couple finds themselves trapped there and needs to fight their way out of the horrors that face them.  It'll be called Sanquinarium.  Stay tuned.
