If I had more time and were faster in coding, I would gladly update Magggas WH game with WH missing characters and AODK roster as hidden characters.

And a crossover of SF2 and FH would be nice too... ::)

Thank you, guys you are very helpful , thank you, Ned you're great.  Unfortunately I did not manage to create the text file for the character, my scripting and texting skills in openbor are arcaic because i never made an Openbor mod I stopped in the years of  BOR( circa 2005.2006). For now, i just managed to change the walk animation of Lee(AODK) for a custom made (by me ) , but I'm still  having heavy issues I think I failed in the part to use indexed colors so the result was like this i attached in this post. I just loved so much this mod, remember old times when i played Burning fight. AOK and  and Viostorm in the arcades. A colorful and simple experience, yet so lovely done . If you allow me  to use Kisarah sprites, the work becomes faster and easy and I'll beg Pierwolf if he can make an update allowing more characters to be playable(AOK and even FH if possible) "cause I know even i'm trying hard, my results will not be compared to Pierwolf's. My skills are very poor. If the creator himself could do that, the result would be as good as the mod is. Same quality!
About what you said the idea of a mod FH vs SF2(the old) would be very cool if you had the time but I know it's hard. I think everyone here is like me, talking about free time. So little time so good ideas.

Maybe also Hanzo from World Heroes as a secret character earned by beating the game.

Try to give a look at openbor tutorial about color management.

By far one of the best beat'up in BOR!!  8) 8) 8) But the uppercut command (up down punch) turn chars invincible for several frames, and make the easy to beat. please correct it

Hi Dario, I'm D@rin here. Very cool you think the same as I. Really a wonderful game make me remember the good old days playing vio storm in an "arcade" hide in a shopping center mid 90's. I'm trying to ocntatct the creator, Pierwolf and beg for a request to add Kiara from agressors of Dark Combat my favorite character. I think is the only think it lacks to be my number one bor mod. Wish me luck, I haven't any by now but I will go on.
 
you should read this tutorial about setting up palettes.

If you have mugen chars you want to add, it's easy to dump the axis aligned sprites from fighter factory that will already have the proper palette applied.

1. Open the SFF for the character you want to get.

2. Delete the portrait and icon groups (just save these separately or rip them again later).



3. Delete all the projectiles and non character sprites (if needed these should be ripped on their own)


4.  Delete the extra fall/pain groups, the ones that are centered on waist and head, we wont need those for openbor, they will also mess up our aligned sprites and make the canvas too big.


5. Delete any remaining non character sprites (backgrounds, healthbars etc.)

6. We must edit the palette for openbor.  Double Click the transparency in the palette screen.



Then change the value where it says Alpha Channel to 255 then hit OK


You will have something like this now.


7. Then save them as axis aligned sprites.  use range All, or rip animations one by one. 



Don't forget to save the axis information to a file.  You will use this offset in OpenBOR.


Don't save the changes to the SFF or save it as a copy if needed.

You can do it. Just do some tries, this is the way to learn.
Just as an information Kisarah will be in my game project with an extended movelist too!
But, it will take me some time.

PS: I'm Really waiting for your mod, the time will worth the while. I really love Kisarah(I called her Kiera posts ago, i'm a very bad name recaller). I like Leone and the Red Tux Guy(don't remeber name now) from AODK. I think they are very "beatemupable" like a wicked version of Blaze, Adam & Axel. Ned, Are you french or dutch?Always thought myself you were a dutch.
 
Try to edit stuffs step by step.
It become very easy fastly, once you complete basic simple stuffs.
Eventually, you'll be able to create your own mod.
BTW, French :) This is why my english ish not that good.

Hey there everyone just wondering if someone could help me on an issue im having. So ive been trying to play this game with a ps4 controller using ds4windows and this game seems to jumble the inputs as soon as i hit ok in the control options. I was thinking maybe it was the version of openbor that i was using but i play Super Final Fight Gold with no issues using the same setup. So i guess my question is, is this game different somehow from SFFG or am i doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated thank you guys :)
 
I'm following the instructions and putting Lihua where she deserves to be.
Replacing Lee, which while he isn't as useless and weak as Yoongmie, he's easily the most boring Karnov's revenge character.

Farewell, kung-fu boy, for you'll never be missed.

Glad I could get a Mugen version of hers so I can rip the sprites that are missing.

Yeah, I agree that Lee is the blandest and most boring character in the game. Jean crosses the line into outright obnoxious.
 
I also intend to change the BGMs (I plan on using this song for Condor, a few Ninja warriors again songs for the stages) and maybe in the future put one or two Saturday Night Slammasters replacing characters I didn't like besides Lee, such as Ray or Yoongmie.

And later on, more stages. FHD is the OpenBor masterpiece I always wanted to play so far!

I prefer Yungmie be kept and buffed instead of replaced.
 
Li Hua in game. She looks nice so far, all I need is to get a decent throw animation and her max attack.
