That would make little sense also. Samurai shodown is set in late sengoku era (1600+) while D&D is set more or less in european dark ages (between 800 and 1200). Besides I see no point in adding samurai in that kind of game...what sense would that make ?
That's just my opinion tho.
I would rather see the thief developped rather than adding new characters.
Man, I love every bit of this character. Color palettes are A+, moustache, nose, bag carrying, his evil yet awkward laugh make him a fantastic anti hero character. I just wish he would have more moves rather than just throwing knives.
Talking about opinions, my endless quest just met its end, so maybe I can use this as an opportunity to give my opinion.
• Overall, this game is great. I had a very good feeling during most of the gameplay, and that's definitely a game I will introduce to friends of mine
• Character cast is good, mostly from the same game so they fit together. The characters from the knights of the round table fit surprizingly well despite coming from another game. Two bad points tho : the purple remap of the elf is ugly (I dont say that to be mean - but really it's hard to even understand the sprite with such colors, I think it deserves to be reworked just a bit or removed altogether). Two extra characters from the adventurer guild (barbarian and paladin) do not fit the cast at all. The barbarian is far too detailed...and both of them sport visible faces, which should be avoided since all the other character do not.
• I overall regret the non-addition of the Shadow over Mystara cast, but this is developer choice and I respect that.
• As I said earlier, the thief, tho a visually excellent character, becomes extremely repetitive to play. Knife throwing should not, imho, be his main attack
• The choice of music is marrying my eardrums as I write this
• The level design is just perfect. Seeing my character levelling up from killing bands of skeletons in a graveyard to fighting whole armies is really what I expect from a D&D based game
• The scenes on horseback are too repetitive. Go to the right, back attack, back attack, back attack until they are all dead. Somewhat disapointing, but it's nitpicking at this point.
• Also, I would recommend the boss to switch patterns as they lose life. Especially for the final boss - surprisingly easy once you understood his pattern
• I killed Bloodbane and now I feel bad. Sempai I'm sorry ;A;
Seriously this is overall an excellent game that I'm sending to my friends at this exact moment
