Hey Bloodbane, I have a request for you. Would you mind helping me out on how the stages for Knights of the Round Revenge? I'm having a hard time trying to work the stages when I typed in the right text. Is there anything I did wrong?
 
Hello Jeremiah, welcome to the forum. I've moved your project to WIP area since you have shown some progress.

There are several alignment issues that you need to fix:
- Stand to walk, there is a axis change and the images should be use the same axis

- Fall animation has an issue which is pretty common > wrong axis.
See where the shadow is places on the first frame

Then the char goes bellow that line (she should land where her ankle is)

now compare with the last frame (which is right)

- Also, there is another axis change on the kick (look at the shadow)

Axis can be changed during animations, but you have to include transition frames for that. In most case, the axis won't change.

Sure, but first you need to show me all images for the stage you are trying to make. Second you need to show me the level text

BTW since your mod is about Knights of the Round, why don't you use stuffs from Pierwolf's Knights & Dragons mod as base for your mod?

A new KotR mod, interesting.

To add something new in your mod, try the stages have a remixed feel into it. For example, that same area could be done in the evening or at dawn, I dunno. Try to add a new environment to known areas. :)
 
I need to see the log before able to decide what's wrong but before that

So I tried to test out my mod this evening when I got home from work, but it shut down because of an unknown error. i'll show you what happened on the openbor log Bloodbane.

So today I managed to get the demo for knights of the round revenge done, but that fire01.gif is starting to get on my  nerves and causing the game demo to shut down even after I erased it from the models.txt and misc files of the chars folder. so I decided to move the pak file of Knights of the Round Revenge to mediafire.com in hopes for someone to download it and fix what I really done wrong .

I guess you're right Bloodbane, I shouldn't have converted into a pak file earlier. I should look at the tutorials more better instead of rushing to get things done.

has anyone ever actually got the gladiator rom working? ive tried once or twice but cant get it, get it to loading and then it never plays, ive always been curious about that game.
 
Anyways, I've checked your mod then found & fixed couple things

First, I don't know where did you get Perceval from but you didn't copy burnt and shock effects placed in misc folder, of the mod you get him that is
Second, you have loaded some entities which you don't have i.e speedup and invi. I disabled them like this:

know invi data/chars/bard/invi.txt

Third, your england level is supposed to use images from data/bgs/plains folder but you didn't set any images from that folder. I fixed it to this:

Then, birdman enemy has wrong path set in his text
Then, since you don't have orc, ouro and other missing stuffs, I replaced them with other to make it work

Well, it's common thing to make such mistakes so don't be discouraged. I can see that MeiMei is working and doesn't crash the mod :D

What's up my brothers and sisters of Chrono Crash, I'm here today showcase the gameplay video of the Knights of the Round Revenge mod and I just want to thank my buddy Bloodbane for fixing the errors and mistakes that was in the mod I was making. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy the showcase because I'm going to be adding updates shortly, enjoy yourselves.

Hey everyone, today I just added a new character for Knights of the Round Revenge. His name is Sir Tristan, he is a round table knight known for using his cunning wits to keep his beloved affair with the irish princess Iseult (Isolde) a secret. Depending on the writer, they both died a tragic death. So I decided to use the sprites of the boss character Phantom the Nightshade that I ripped from Knights of the Round on the Nebula emulator as a base for Sir Tristan's playable counterpart and I gave him a wicked assortment of special moves.
