Thanks ! I downloaded and used my old savegame, it worked. I finished all skulls, map is still there, but nothing left to do... Is it normal ?

yes mate...thats the end... it's still an alpha version...i will add a story to the game later when i am done with all characters:-) so stay tuned for updates...
 
hey friends;) i am still working on animated backgrounds...so the waterfall on that level with sir dawn is now animated but i will add many more animated levels...

i have a question...can somebody telling me the code to place the grab attack on a button?

So you're making animated backgrounds for this mod, that seems pretty cool. It kinda reminds me of some of the levels from Rise of Warduke that had that same function. :)

And as for to performing grabattacks, you don't necessarily need to press a button to trigger it as you can walk up to enemy to automatically grab them for the grab attack to happen.

Do you want more button to perform grab attack OR freespecial which if connects, will followup to a grabattack?

atm the grab attack is automatic when u move near an enemy...cool would be that you can choice if u want to grab or not...so a freespecial would be good...i am not good skilled in that coding stuff but i think i only need to add a freespecial on top of that grab code? like other special moves? then i think i will made it in no time otherwise when i am wrong mate please tell me the code for that :-) the animated backgrounds are realy cool! i found a lot of great gifs for new levels but this will take some time because i muss rip out every frame and bring them in the right size...but every time i finished a animated background its like christmas  ;D i also change some attacks to make the finisher more easy. i define the finisher with the normal attacks so now it is coincidence what finisher will come when u make the last hit on a enemy...my next update will way bigger then the last updates but it will take his time...btw a conter attack or something would be also cool i think. 4 example...when the player and enemy make a move at the same time so that the blades are crossing and then u must hit often a butten to win...when somebody can help me here would be fantastic:-)
 
How about adding more playable characters from Weaponlord? I know the game/mod is titled "Legend of Korr" but my fav character was always Divada. ;D

After playing some more... Damn, is this supposed to be a Souls like mod? The combat is so fucking annoying. Almost every hit throws the player back, if not thrown the player is stunned way too long. Those barbarian bandits spam those fire flasks way too much and some bosses have too many invincibility frames.
I know it's still a demo but combat definitely needs better balancing. At one point I was juggled across the whole level which caused enemies to spawn in impossible numbers. I could only finish it by spamming the fire magic. Even with cheats activated it wasn't fun for me.

as you write...its still a demo/alpha...you should figure out how to block before you let your anger running wild here ...and...maybe you should make your own game to get a feeling for how difficult that is and pay close attention to your choice of words! Sorry but I can not really take you seriously.

Heck I've made games where people dont even bother clicking on how to play or don't even configure gamepads so some things have to be spelt out to them. And if all else fails then rethink your mechanics beacuse he may have a point

mate i know that feedbacks make games better...this is what we all are doing here over and over again or not? i have no problem with feedbacks. i have problems with people who express themselves like a trash can. sry mate but a certain level i can probably expect here or not?

jey that could be...with trash i mean the style of vocabular! but Unfortunately, people do not take the time to read this pages here! then they would know that my skills in coding are way to bad to handle all things. i am a drawer, not a coder and this is the reason why i mod the endless quest from pierwolf and dont start with an own game from zero! the fighting system and most codes are from endless quest!

i really like the atmosphere of it and the map too! i had fun personally, even if the game is a bit hard, but not really a problem for me.

i can understand the "rude" comment and maybe soundofdarness should have used a more "respectful" words (depends of the sensibility of anyone). All the work put in there (good or bad) should always be respected in my opinion... but his comment is not trashy in my opinion, there's always something positive to take from it, and a part of truth somewhere for sure.
by realeasing a demo, you should be prepared for this  ;)

by the way, i have a feedback for you!
with your screen definition, you should consider having a running animation for a smoother gameplay or making the dash not consume all the mp. i admit i tried to put cheat to spam the dash  :-[

keep up the good works, i really like the bias of your game  ;)

I am not sensitive but sry! i transform to an nuclear bomb when people dont figure out how to block an attack and write here "The combat is so fucking annoying" i mean...he can ask! and i know that some levels are way to hard at this stage of version. its all good  ;) i know that things but as i sayed...i am only a drawer and not a coder. sadly i have no time to learn all that coding because real life eats most of my free time. i ask around here for some month if a coder is interessted to join my project to bring LOK on a better way but this is still a one man show atm. i have so many cool ideas for that game but i need a coder for that...i make a motivation break at the moment. need a little rest from all that painting. i will be back soon with new updates. have a great weekend  :)

i completely understand your thoughts, i'm exactly like you except i'm not a good drawer AND not a good coder! whatever!

i made 10 years ago a korr for mugen, and..it was awful and proud of it! (or not)  8)
the thing is keep going to learn more and more, for your pleasure. it takes free times for sure, but at least one or more people will enjoy your fan work too.

about learning code, ilu said somewhere that he read the manual in the bus when he could (or something like that). i learned a lot by this method too, and your "skills" and knowledges will improve too.

it will "always" be a one man show (for your ideas and the artistic pov), and we're lucky here, cause a lots of guys help everytime (dc, bloodbane, o, maxman, nsw etc) sort of a teamwork  :)

i stop my non sense post here! and wish you good luck, i really enjoyed your game (and your artistic bias, creativity), need improvements for sure, but keep your motivation man, this project is worth to playing!  :D
 
Sorry, I was VERY annoyed when I wrote that. And some days I get annoyed very easy. About my choice of words: swearing and cursing is no big deal where I come from, it's not considered trash talk.

Yeah, I know it's still far from finished and I know that making an OpenBOR game isn't easy. I tried just editing some things in different mods but most of the code is gibberish for me. Making or editing a mod for the original Doom is easier. :-[
I prefer the classic "attack is the best defense" gameplay style in beat'em up games. I tried using block more often but absolutely don't like that fatigue after 2 seconds of blocking.

@SoundOfDarkness...the fighting system i use is from the original K&D the endless quest. i dont know atm if i will change things there because for the most people is this system okay.

@nedflandeurse...sure!  i was bussy with animated backgrounds before stepping into a break;) i will go on when my motivation is back on top. atm you can only play with korr. the plan is to make another korr with an battle axe that you can find later in the game so you can choice between blade or axe and thats easy to build. that girl ki-sha [korrs sister] is not ready to 100% most frames are done but she need more attack frames. she will be part of the story and the only other playable character in my game. the other weaponlord characters will be enemys. i dont know whats up with pierwolf. i remember that he starts his own weaponlord project and finished all characters but long time no news there :/ i think i will be back in moding at december because i work to much atm and the rest of my free time i am bussy with my kids :)

Excellent idea the Axe, i love it can give the two game play with only one character :)

It is ly frst question, you made a different game than @Pierwolf ? You are not working together on an unique better game ?
I love his select character screen, with characters movements we can see on videos ... I know now you want to let only two characters playable, but mybe we can play with all of them in Arena ?
Because for the moment you have not really work on Arena, i kill one enemy and the game is finished.

I have two bugs for my part :
- How to play : When i launch it, the game freeze my PI :(
- Your game can kill the PI :p lol : I explain, in your game when we kill an enemy, it fall down, when i hit an enemy blood fall down on the ground ... and all these sprinte never disappear ... :(
It is beautiful for sure, but with time, during the boss fight for exemple, there are more than 20 enemies on the ground and ton of blood ... the game heat more and more CPU and after 2 minutes of fight the game become more and more slow :( ... and very hard to play ...
Can you make a script for this ? that remove blood on ground after 1 minute for exemple ? and same for enemies ... after one minute the enemy disappear in the ground like the skeletons come from the ground. Like this we can save CPU and memory for the little computers :D ;)
Or add this script like an game option, if you don't want it on powerful PC ... ;)
